okay saved a game after equiping my chars...via Allyx's shop re started reloaded the saved game came up and then CTD
Is Allyx's Shop Tha Ah Fong Emporium? I too have just CTD there. First time I've played TEd's mod in any shape. Perhaps there's a zip file in the origional thread. I will have a look. I thought the latest version would incorporate all of the little files that where posted.
No its not, Allyxs shop map is right at the start of the game (if you've got it installed, which I don't) and lets you buy your own start equipment. Ted made the Ah Fong Emporium, there is a fix for the CTD somewhere for that.
The Ah Fong Emporium CTD has been fixed and the fix will be appplied to the Co8 Fan Fixes 4.0.0 MOD release. I have the fix from a ShiningTed post...I think Agetian is the interstellar supra-genius who determined its resolution. Here's the Ah Fong fix from the Co8 Superstar ShiningTed.
Unrelated to the "Crash at opening vignette after Shoping with Allyx" thread above? People DO realise they need my stuff installed before Allyx's, because he sells stuff by Cujo etc that is in my mod? Otherwise, can't help Thanks for sorting at this issue with my mod guys
@ bradwini - sorry your having problems with the shop, the problem might be caused by the universal spawner that recalculates starting cash when you start the game (but I doubt it) Cerulean may know more on that if it is the cause, otherwise I have no Idea whats causing it. @ everyone else I started a new game yesterday with only 1 character - a bard, I forgot that I added the .mobs for my white dragon to the caravan map a while ago (to test something) and got torn to shreads as soon as I tried to move!
Allyx problem with your mod was solved when i reinstalled turns out was bad install the no pics for windowed saved games pursist but the shop works great now... ted he was a 1st lvl bard maybe he just didnt play very well.. and the dragon took offense
