I have a 23 inch 16:0 ratio montior. Its a Hanspree Hf237. What resolution are you all playing this at? I mean whats optimal but still looks good. Should I play this on my 32 inch LCD on the wall behind my Monitor? would that be better.
If you are fortunate to have such LCD, then by all means use it. Just tinker it to your liking and see for yourself what works and what doesn't. Me? I'm fine having my ToEE res at 800x600.
Supported resolutions The trick is to use the highest possible supported resolution that your monitor can handle. Ideally you want to use your monitor's native resolution, but at 23", I suspect your monitor's native resolution is greater than those supported by ToEE. Some people complain about small fonts with high resolutions, but the tactical and immersive benefits of seeing a large area in fine detail easily outweigh that, imo. Plus, you can make the in-game font larger if you really want to by changing the Windows display properties font size.
