    The files have been updated. The queue is now null and void. Less than 24 hours to send me files. Get to it everyone!

    FINISHED IT!!! Finally, all Verbo-mod files are uploaded onto the FTP (as well as 1790 files that are unchanged from the .DATs! and 14012 files that are unchanged from 4.0.0!), never the less, it plays, it's tough, it's fun, it's brand new content, and best of all... IT'S FINISHED, AND BEFORE THE DEADLINE TOO!!!

    I lost most of yesterday due to RL cr4p, but who needs sleep? Modding finished, just putting a zip together (I leave out the irrelevant files :jerkin: ). Out to Blue within the hour.

    Ok, I am DONE! Well except for 2 files I lost, but they'll turn up ;)

    Damn I am looking forward to playing this myself :D

    Edit: Got the 2 missing files in b4 9pm Blue-time - here we gooooo!!! :dribble:

    I can't believe your done, judging by the incomplete version I saw it's spectacular work. When I think how long it takes me to do a few little things that had to be an unbelievable amount of work.

    Alright ShiningTed. You actualy finished on time, whoda thunkit ;) :poke:

    And a big congratulations to everyone who's contributed to this release. I can't wait to check out this new release, I'm gonna have to figure it out how shoe-horn in some more play time. :)

    do a base texture nerik with chains on it etc ,then add/use a robe addmesh , texture that as well alpha paint chains on it! this way yo can get a look of layers of chains from base and addmesh !! , you can have them dangling off arms and around body and legs easy that way:)

    look at my fine chain mail set up for how to do it.


    And allyx!! wOOT ! ill get on to making awesome new meshes for the drow armours as well for ya, just been a bit busy lately.

    Hey yeah, that'd be cool! I have 4 Drow armours so far, and I'd like the skin for the phase spider to to look more like the picture I posted from the monsters manual ;)

    Thanks, ACE, that is close to what I was trying to do, except I was planning to use the hide armour addmesh for the dangling chains - so I copied the hide armour files for my new mesh, and edited accordingly, but for some reason, the addmesh doesn't show up at all - I've checked the obvious reasons for it not working, and it doesn't appear to be those, so I'm a bit stumped ATM.

    Hey Nerik,

    One way that works for PCs is to copy the protos entry for hide armor leave the model# alone and change the color#. Define your new mesh in Addmesh.mes but leave the entry in materials.mes blank (except for a comment that the # is taken). Set the Equipment Slot Flag to OIF_WEAR_LOCKPICKS and wear it aswell as your base. The addmesh shows up but the base model doesn't and it doesn't replace the model of the armor your wearing. It worked for me when I was trying to get seperate tabbard, but it was too small addmeshes aren't seperately scalable.

    So for your situation try making a second Hide Armor, leave the original model (the addmesh won't work without it), define an addmesh but NO material.mes entry, and just equip it as armor. Should work for you, the body mesh of the monster should stay and you'll just have the addmesh.

    4.1.0 has expanded into 5.0.0 I believe and is due to be released on May 9, 2006 in beta format. Check then and I sure you will find it.
