you don't have to install ToEEFE to get the level cap remover, it comes in Co8 4 - which also solves the bugs patch 3 fixes plus a bunch of other ones.

you know you can just edit your posts instead of making lots of little ones.

Nope. I've never had this problem, before. Only happened after I downloaded the second patch and the Co8 mod.

By the way, that's a broken link.

Yes, the Mod Pack contains moebius' fixed temple.dll which solves the looting problem.

You do not need to install ToEEFE for the level cap remover. In fact, the level cap is removed by default.

So what exactly in that link do I have to download? I went there and downloaded the most likely candidate (though I don't really know for sure) to C:\Program Files\Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil. I then downloaded Patch 2 (and not the other thing), and still got the error message saying that I needed to install a disc. So what do I need to download, there, exactly?

Note that you have to install patch 2 BEFORE applying the no-cd-thingie. You then download the Temple of Elemental Evil v2.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE, and extract the contents of the .rar file to your ToEE root dir.

The root directory? What's that? C:\Program Files\Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil?

Nevermind, I got it. It works, now. Now to set a System Restore Point and then download the Co8 file.

EDIT: Ok, I downloaded it, again, clicked on "Temple Frontend", and once again got the following message.

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."

So what do I do about that?

Are you sure you have the .NET framework installed on your computer?

To use Temple Frontend (aka Toffee) you must have the Microsoft .NET framework installed on your computer. To see if you have .NET, go to the control panel and click on Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down the list of programs (they are arranged alphabetically by default). If you see Microsoft .NET 1.1, you have .NET. If you don't see it, you don't have .NET and you will not be able to use Toffee. You will have to use the non-Toffee version of 4.0.0.

at the co8 4.0.0 mod...how can I restore the original image of Scather and Fragarch (I for one, liked that blue shiny Scather and that yellow shiny Fragarch :(( ) or the original image of the holy longsword +1 (here, come on, it looks very familiar with Raziel's Soul Reaver enchanted with light from the Legacy of Kain series!!!) ??!!
