Sometimes, it's just too late here. I can't help it if you guys live all the down at the bottom of the rabbit-hole in Wonderland...

    Re: ToEE Front-End v3.51

UPDATE (23 JAN 2006): Uploaded ToEEFE 3.60 Professional Edition. Minor error prediction increase. Added an error box when the user inputs an invalid value for the level cap (above 20 or below 1).

@ Morpheus: I tried fiddling with moving the music back, but it's *really* hard to do (it's not as simple as moving music files back to their places judging by whether it's an original MP3 or not). I'll try to do it, but I'd recommend you not to put v4.1.0 on hold because of this because it will DEFINITELY take me longer than a month to pull it out, since I don't have much time to code at the moment (I urgently have to get back to my thesis paper). So, I'll keep your request in mind and maybe by v4.2.0 I'll do it, OK?

    Re: ToEE Front-End v3.70

    I know, it's been a while... :)

UPDATE (23 APR 2006): Uploaded ToEEFE 3.80 Professional Edition. Added a 5-second delay on startup to the Launch button which is needed to time the time-critical operations correctly and avoid some strange launch issues that some people experienced after switching modules and starting the game quickly. Thanks to Allyx for a suggestion.

    Re: ToEE Front-End v3.80

I've seen a post which suggests that the Polish version of ToEE is not compatible with Toffee.

The issue just popped up again as I was asked by a Polish player about v5 and compatibility with the Polish game and the post linked was mentioned.

Thought I should mention it in case it was an unknown little problem with a specific localised version.

    Re: ToEE Front-End v3.80

UPDATE (24 JAN 2007): Uploaded ToEEFE 4.00 and removed the old obsolete version 3.00. The new version removes old .pyc files when cleaning cache, includes the new Spellslinger's fix to Humble NPCs, and has some more modifications and improvements that are mainly related to .NET 2.0. The new version requires .NET Framework v2.0. If you're strictly against installing .NET Framework v2.0 for any reason, I'll still keep the old version 3.80 for you. However, all further versions will require .NET Framework v2.0 (you've been warned).

NOTE: Right now version 4.00 is available for download from the topmost post attachments list. It'll be uploaded to FTP soon.

FTP UPDATE: I uploaded ToEEFE v4.00 to the FTP server and, therefore, it's now available for standard download in the topmost post.

    Re: ToEE Front-End v4.00

UPDATE (21 AUG 2007): Uploaded ToEEFE 4.01 and removed the old obsolete version 3.80. Now, the only distribution available is the very latest version (v4.01). Yes, it requires .NET Framework v2.0, but it's well worth it to download and install .NET 2.0 and use the latest version because previous editions (3.xx series included) had certain problems. The new version includes some code tweaks.

    Re: ToEE Front-End v4.01

    Agetian,

I'd like to add my thanks as well. I stopped playing in January due to persistent error messages when loading the game. The frontend 4.01 seems to have resolved the problem for the most part. I still get error message 004 but then the game launches, so I am not complaining.

    Thanks again.
