I am sure this has been asked before (and sent off ot the archives), but would it be possible to export creatures from other games (I am thinking Infinity Engine Games because the size is almost right, and I have a limited background working with them).

I'd love to yank some of the dragons from Baldur's Gate II and import them into ToEE.

Not really. Baldur's Gate mobs are in 2D while ToEE
uses 3D. Besides we can't make new animations. :/

You can, however, edit or even replace the texture 'skins' for the creature models to create new ones. The textures are small Targa (.TGA) files, you can even remove creature parts by using the alpha channel. I used this process for some of the creatures that I added in to pad out the Summon Monster spells.

Oh, and welcome to the Circle of Eight.

It would probably be possible to transfer a model from another 3d game; given the right tools, but there are copyright issues involved there, since you would be essentially pirating part of the game.
