    You could home-cook your own fix as well, OB. All it takes is a little plinking around in the DATs and a sound editor.

    Thanks, didn't know about the limit.

    I'd like to get the voices of the Alu Demon girl (Darley) and Scorp, but if it's a pain then no worries. Between the other mods here, your new voices and the Pictures wizard, I'm having a great time taking one more hack. ;)

    Ok, all the new voices are up - 32 all up, more than DOUBLING the number of PC voices you can use. Go back to the top and read the initial post (its been edited).

    Old book - Darley and Scorpp eh? Sure, i can do that. But gimme a few days, right now I wanna get back into my mod (finally). Hey how did the gypsy voice go, did you get her working?

    The mistake on the gypsy was mine; I re-installed her when I installed your new voices and control files, and she's now working correctly.

    Nice to hear all of those BG voices again. :)

    I've had a chance to play with most of these now, and I just wanted to give another "you rock" to Shiningted. Great to hear coments from my PCs as we enter areas, even if the coments are absurdly out of context. Maybe even better that way. ;)

    Ted, did you somehow figure out how to "activate" remarks for conditions other than the Big 5 for PCs? If so, that would definitely be cool.

    Finally got off my backside and uploaded the 'Darley and Scorpp' voices for PCs that I promised Old Book. They come bundled together with the necessary control files, so just download, point at Program Files/Temple of Elemental Evil, and unzip.

    Also, I am pleased to announce that Allyx has fiddled the 'Undomiel' voice, removing the soundtrack in the background and just leaving the pure voice which integrates into the game much better. Estel will follow in due time.

    Lastly, here is the 'sharipova' grunt Alatar asked for: ummmm not the best, i swear there were more of these in BG but I can't find them. Watch this space in case they show up!

    Is there anyway you can put up the origional PC voices from Baldur's Gate 1? You know, like the 'Male 3' and the like? That's the perfect voice for my main character, and I can't find anything close enough to it anywhere else.

    Well, if we can find them on the net (and I bet they r up here somewhere) then yes... heck I can put wyvern noises in if u like (and I almost did, someone did that for BG2).

    My 'to-do' list is a bit long though... if you wanna try yourself, there is a step-by-step thing over in the 'new sounds' thread of the General Modification area.

    I downloaded the pcvoices they show up but no voices please help what did i do wrong............ thanks for any help

    i also am having probs getting these new voices to work, have only tried the bg2 voices but am assuming none of them are working with my setup. and yes, ive unpacked the control file to its proper place. have these been tested with all the latest co8 patches/livonya's patch/new temple.dll? also hopefully this isnt a prob with hardcoded directory location(since mine isnt in c:..ect)? anyways yeah i would appreciate any help with getting these to work.
