DH is short for Desperate Housewives- a very cool additional set of quests set in the ToEE game-- I think (Shining)Ted made it up and it really rocks, Especially the ending and the reward-- IF you win....

Yes when WILL DH be put into ToEE-X and 5.5?? Ted?

Well, that's interesting. Here I thought most of DH occurred in the brothel. Maybe I will try it, after all. Eventually.

Is DH compatable(sp?) with the 5.5 mod?

This has all been discussed and documented before ...

DH will not become a part of the 5.5 generation mod at any time. Eventually it will be repackaged so that it can serve as an independant add-on pack to the 5.5 mod. No idea when that will happen.

If you got hold of a download of DH in its current non-TFE-X format and tried to install it overtop of 5.5, it would indeed not be compatable and you would have all kinds of problems.

For domains, use the in-game rulebook (click ? ingame and go to classes-clerics then click domains), it explicitly tells you all the spells an benefits for each domain.

Fighter + Barbarian? I'd say the extra feats you get from the fighter class are the benefit. Half-Orcs tend to be the stereotypical barbarians.

PS I'm very very sad about DH in 5.5.0

I had a problem with loading portrait images before I had to reactive the beta. Only half the images were available to choose from so I didn't get to have an orc picture for my half orc monk.

Do I have to remake my party if I want a new picture or is there an easier way?

^ Not that I know of. Unless somebody on here knows how to edit save files.

As for your barbarian, I'd not dual-class him at all... I guess I could see a barbarian/ranger with dual-wield though.

to Dual-wield or not to Dual-wield, that is the question. I generally consider two things: is strength 18+, and/or will the character invest in Improved 2WF. That -2 (or -4) penalty associated with the 2WF feat is substantial and one had best make sure to be getting the most bang for your buck.

It's been my experience that dual-wielding is not as good as single wielding. The decrase in the to hit and the damage is bad, but rarity of the opportunity to even use the off-hand weapon seems to be a clencher. Statistically, at low base to hit levels, single wield seems to be the way to go.

OTOH, I usually have a couple of longsword dual-wielders (or maybe one bastard) to use all the powerful swords you pick up later. Seems a shame to not use them all. ;)

I just started using dual wield in my last game with Bertram (damn is he multi-talented!).
At low levels, it's hard go. At higher levels it begins to pay off. Bertram can do some serious damage with his short sword and dagger, especially if hasted and with a Bull's Strength cast on him! :chainsaw:

It would be simple to check. Make 2 same-strength characters, and give one a 2-handed weapon and have one dual-wield. Then keep an eye on the ego stats. Watch how rarely the off-hand weapon is used in combat. ;)

I noticed this long ago when my Cleric of Grumssh wiith a long spear was the killing machine instead of my Tank. Polearmers are also superior for charging. Check it out.

I was amazed at Bertram and Serena both Ftr/Rog with ITWF. Serena could take down a flat-footed Giant in one round! Rogues should definitely dual wield because that off-hand does hit.

Above you said Bertram w/ short sword and dagger. Why not 2 short swords and weapon focus?

I dual-wielded Elmo. 2 axes. He's cutting them down right and left! (Heh)
