Melany- starting stats

Does anyone know Melany's starting stats? :chick:

Strength: 8? (I'm not sure on this one. The time I took them down she was strength drained, but it's around there, she gets burdened easily)
Dexterity: 13
Constitution: 12
Intelligence: 10
Wisdom: 17
Charisma: 15

Start strength may be 9.

 

I think it's 9. Regardless, she gets a -1 strength bonus iirc.

BTW I noticed a weird bug, I was leveling her up as a druid, then gave her the unholy orc double-axe, and she was not getting penalized for lack of proficiency >__<

 

Whoops! Filiken always did say she was..."different". :yikes:

 

I guess it runs in the blood...

Or GA consoled for Meleny to be a half-orc so many times that it carried over to the official 5.5.0 release =))

 

Hey! It was Filiken who was in charge of the female orc prisoner...

 

Hmm, shouldn't they send her to Hickory Branch anyway? That one seems to be heavy on orcs =)

 

I think they should you know. She's really an orc in disguise...did you ever see the tv series the V ?

This is the best forum I've ever been on, people are helpful, funny, and easy going. Lurker Lounge is fun but there rude people there and other rude people that support them for it and they are regulars on top of that!

But it would be really fun to get a quest where Melany goes off "adventuring", and Filliken asks you to go find her at Hickory Branch =))

 

Meleny's stats are:

str 6
dex 12
con 10
int 14
wis 14
charisma 16

Well, that's definitely wrong. She has -1 strength, Cha 15 and Wis 17 for a fact. I don't remember the other stats though.

 

Post #2 in this thread seems right, except Str is 9.

 

The stats in post 2 agree with the original protos. The strength is 8. The stats in the npc listing are not reliable.

 

Livonya raised Meleny's stats back in the day; at least enough Wisdom to make her worth recruiting. The NPS list probably refers to vanilla ToEE.

She's not in the original module to confirm. Filiken is- not by name, but very consistent with the game NPC.
