Once you get Mona's crystal ball for her and free Serena, she moves to her home. You can go and get your fortune told by her. She asks you what is your wish for the future. I know that the different responses create different situations in the game but, other than a couple of them, I don't know what. Does anyone know what the different wishes do?

    1. Whatever the Gods may have in store for me, I am prepared!
    2. I look for challenging adventure!
    3. Gold and more gold!
    - 100 gold reward for rescuing some merchants on level 1 of the Temple
    4. I seek humor in all things, even when the moment may not warrant it.
    - Ed, Ed and Ted are imprisoned on level 1 of the Temple
    5. I wish for great honor and heroics!

So I'm guessing no one knows what happens when you tell Mona what you want?

Gamefaqs has the same answer/results. I didn't manage to get her to read my fortune last play through, and I didn't try this time.

    Challenging adventure - does nothing.
Honor and heroics (good parties) or Something pitiful to kill (evil parties) - toggles cheerful / sad prisoners respectively. (again, in Temple level 1)
