    UPDATE

The strange/vivid/weird dreams continue for your friend and humble narrator.

Still no freaking idea where they're coming from.

Getting a little tired of waking up at 2 or 3 AM with these things.

The last one I clearly remember (and no, I'm not making this sh*t up) was a combination of prepping claim files for scanning, during a zombie outbreak, with the military in charge of my company. I have a distinct memory of being infected, trying to hide it, so I could get the work done. :twitch:

Would love an explanation for that one.

Yes I've been sober when going to bed, thank you very much.

Last night (Thursday-Friday) wasn't so bad. involved flying my RC Helicopter. Still vivid (real) enough that it woke me up though.

"Humble Narrator"? As in Alex from "A Clockwork Orange"?

What movies are you watching before you go to bed? :gotmyatte

On Saturday I walked the street (on my way to my work place) and thought...
What if some evil - doers would kidnap me, while I sleep, and put me through a time-machine to the African tribe of pygmies...
And 50 years into the past...
Or a thousand years into the future...
How would I return home in that case? Frightening...
Luckily enough, I had arrived to destination before my mind collapsed under the stress and was distracted from these thoughts by the necessity to work...

I had one of the oddest dreams last night I can remember.

I was in a big room with a lot of tables, brightly lit, and was sitting at one of the tables.

There was a contest going on. Each person had part of a cookie sheet (was cut so it was about 1/3 the size) and the sheet was hot, but there didn't seem to be a source for the heat. Everyone was rolling green beans, raw ones, back and forth on the hot cookie sheet. The object was to evenly brown the green bean. The first one who did won. But there were judges who closely observed the green bean to see how well it had been browned.

I didn't have any green beans, so someone loaned me one.

After the first 'contest' was over, I went to a counter where they were selling green beans and bought some. A man, an older man, was there and told me to buy the cheap ones since I was new at rolling them on the cookie sheet. There were all kinds of green beans and the guy selling them was going on about the virtues of the different types.

So I bought 10 green beans for one dollar and went back to the table. The older guy asked if he could sit with me, went with me, sat down at the table, and started rolling his green beans.

Seemed to me like there were many little contests and the 'winners' then all competed.

I did not win a contest, but had a very good time rolling my green beans. In the dream, I was focused closely on my fingertips rolling the bean.

Then I went home, and my parents were waiting up for me. Both of them were in recliners, but my mother was asleep I think. My father asked me if I had a good time. I told him that I had a great time and only spent $1.

    Then I woke up.

    Weird. Green beans? Double weird.

it means i think, that youre scared of screwing up but at one point you know that someone will take care of you no matter how guilty you feel. you might have the tendency to blame other people for the badgoing of things. but in general youre confident in yourself for taking care of stuff

its a special dream. the source of the heat symbolises art. you shouldnt be scared to lose someone close to you, bcs that wont happen. the old man is the outside influence in this dream. he tricks you. he doesnt tell you that you won the contest. you have the feeling that youre old but not bcs of the man. your fingertips mean how sensitive you are about art.

i also had a dream where i was in a theme park and looking at a big space. i think to myself, in the past we hardly had spaces this big. now our eyes got used to it, we dont think its spactacular anymore. then i notice one girl looking at me and i go and kiss her. she says you know that this is a dream so you must wake up in 15 mins. but i think that im having a dream in a dream so waking myself up will bring me into that first dream. but when i wake myself up i see that ive woken up from both of them.

Another dream (and no weird meds either):

I dreamed I was walking and an eagle landed on a nearby lawn. It was light brown, almost a pastel brown and white. It had wings like a bat, and they started growing, becoming like flags and it took off into the air and I could see it was a kite. I looked around and there were more and more of these kites in the air. It was exciting, like a parade sort of thing. Then these strange white flowers started falling out of the air. People everywhere were looking up and around and laughing and smiling. A troop of wooden horses, black, went by with riders on them in tight jackets and pants the same colors as the eagle/kites. The riders were singing: “Mr. Gully Gully Gumpkins, Mr. Mr. Gully Gumpkins what would you do?” Soon, everyone was singing it.

There was more to this dream, things scattered within what I described, but I can't remember them. The dream was very reminiscent of the Yellow Submarine movie by the Beatles. It was a good dream.

I do not think so. Even if they did something, it involved sending me to Russia, not to Africa. But I feel at home here, so it is very unlikely I was misplaced by evil-doers.

I had a dream, that one of my acquaintances came to my place in the morning and sang a mocking song about me (standing outside, in front of my windows) with a voice and manner of a known singer.

Of course, I only remember, that my name was used a lot of times in it, and that it had all aspects of a song (music, rhymed words and some degree of meaning) unlike most modern "popular" things...

Got to stop listening to techno-rock in the evenings, I suppose.
