yeah if you've played sacred you get the compliment i was attempting to convey -
i still think the backgrounds in toEe are more beautiful tho.

@axe: thought maybe you meant a specific npc(s) sorry :)

Well, the ToEE graphics are much more atmospheric...the Temple has that aura of "something bad is going to happen in any moment"...the first time i entered, i was expecting something jumping at me at every corner or waiting behind every column or shadow...the first floor having nothing it's much more effective that way, the tension was killing me.

Sacred had beutiful graphics, but lacks that kind of eerie feel...the caves of the dark elves where a bit dissapointing, they should be a dark, creepy place, not just a underground city)

Anyway, what it can be done with 3D programs it's useful because it can be easily photoshoped.
In my case i'd prefer something more artesanal (if i had some free time, i'll just make the portraits or artwork handpainted, with little digital work, just adjusting some contrast and that kind of thing)

Fully agree - Sacred was fun but; ... it lacked something. Much like bubblegum?

It certainly didn't have the atmosphere ToEE has; heck I even like the music. Ironically perhaps I was looking at the thread showing Troika's unreleased post-apocalypse game; and you'll notice it has the "ZOOM" feature, which would have really shown off their artwork.

    Which reminds me :

@AxThrower : could you repost those 2 models as they would look in-game?

HK... you know you can use anything... I don't claim any artistic rights.. all I do is regurgitate someone else's efforts in another form... however I would think it needs re-rendering as the left arm is awkward and the head has a funny tilt to it... (and there is a floating headband I missed during the render...

a RED dragon I am working on... I just have to finish retexturing the head and wings... I have been using snake scales to give it a more realistic skin than what DAZ did... this is there green millenium dragon, being reskinned to a red

Great Ax! Though one thing looks strange... the dragon looks as if
it had pink lipstick on its snout.
