    Are we between waves, or is something working?

    Too bad we can't ALL have this kind of fun. I could stop going downtown onto the rooftops at night with my 700. .308 winchester is expensive.

    Hopefully the improved security system will help reduce the number of spam bots to the minimum. There will, however, always be those most advanced spam bots that will break in - so stay alert, guys! :)

    Okay, it's been almost a week. Where is all the spam! One of my favorite things to do is to spam spam threads. "Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, wonderful spam..." SHUT UP!

    Yeah Ag's efforts seem to have done the trick. Of course, we had one just shpw up an hour ago just to make things difficult.

    Nonetheless, weekend and overnight is when they usually come, and we were getting swarmed last week. The one from India seemed to have been walked in, so to speak. And it's so weird, like someone was using a dictionary to translate it. It's hard to think that was a sincere sales pitch.

    What irks me more:

    The moderators keep the fun of obliterating those buggers for themselves!
    We should have a big, red button, with a small lightning on it for those damned spam bots :p

    Yeah, another wave is incoming from Japan (or so it seems, at least). I made certain changes in the security system but I'm not sure that it's going to stop them, they might have found some exploit in the registration system or something, so keep your eyes peeled. And obviously don't click on any of the links in the spam posts - you're not going to get anything good from it, and you might catch a virus or two in the process.

    I squished one :D I finally found th button that lets you ban and auto-delete everythig they had done in one go - previously I was doing it all seperately. I am now very pleased with myself. :yes:

    Actually, rumour has it that this tried many times. Unfortuneately, like a bad penny, or a zombie, he keeps coming back. Perhaps a head shot.... :chairshot :dead:
