It took a few more uninstalls and re-installs, but everything seems to be fine now.

I absolutely LOVE the "reactive Lareth" in v7. Lareth's dialogue and everything worked flawlessly. I refought the battle two or three times just to watch Lareth react. I'm glad Co8 was able to finally get Lareth to join the initial battle. It makes the encounter so much better.

I've also had some issues w/ resting at the Welcome Wench. Usually what happens is I pay 2 gold and rest for 8 hours. Once rested, the icon changes from a green tent to clock. I don't get the full 24 hours.

I just want to say again what a fabulous job Co8 has done w/ this mod. I'm really looking forward to playing the Golden Skull mod, which I've never played. Well done, gents!

 

I posted my bug in the bug thread in the modifications forum.

Here's something else. Does killing Raimol count towards the butcher of hommlet reputation? Because when you are driving rammos and gremag out of town, raimol will join in the fight against you if you havent already recruited him. And when they leave, raimol will continue to fight you and you will have to kill him. I don't think he should count towards the Butcher reputation since it's out of your control to choose killing him or not. I mean, I doubt everyone will start hiring him to get around that.

Level Cap

Do I need to install Level cap remover, or is that part of the V7 NC download.

It seems I am capped at level 10
I have enough experience to move up but nothing happens

Even tried to do consol "cheat" to level up to 11, but that does not work

Anythoughts?

Did you change the level cap in the options menu of the Front End X before starting ToEE?

 

Ok, found the spoiler thread and regarding the change from the young and white dragon models to gargoyles, I personally prefered the originals. Regarding the Gremlich, fun encounters, the screaming was especially creepy. Now to find the Rabbit Hole.

 

Does a monk lose any of his monk fighting abilities or take any penalties if weilding the Monk Spade?

 

I have to agree, the gargoyle models look out of place. Why not use the original white dragon models the game so kindly provides?

Doesn't seem to work with Flurry, but no other penalties it seems. Also, monks still have to take a proficiency feat for it...

 

I decided I'll have my monk equip gauntlets for combat then. Where can I find gauntlets? (not spiked)

HOWEVER< that has not changed anything. I still seemed capped at level 10
Can not seem to level up no matter what I do

Unfortunately, you may need to restart your game. Changing frontend settings midgame is probably not possible.

One thought I just had... did you activate the Co8 mod, or are you playing vanilla? AFAIK vanilla will cap at level 10 even if you have TFE-X installed and launch through it.

 

Regarding Robin Locksley and his band with my 5 lvl 15 PCs, the encounter would have been more enjoyable if they didn't literally start on top of the group and offered more dialog choices or outcomes. I could understand if they were all wearing Boots of Elvenkind but thier biggest mistake was putting Friar Tack right next to my fighter who proceeded to slaughter him round one rather than allow him the ability to heal his merry companions.

 

Me again and STILL capped at level 10

I restarted the game after making correct choices in Front end start up
I am playing 7.0 nc (not vanilla)

Was playing along (again) expecting to be able to go past level 10
BUT here I am again, stuck at level 10.

What I have done so far.

1. Make appropriate choices (in options) on Front end v 7 NC.
2. Re started the game, and played my way up to 10 level.
3. Ready to go to level 11, but nothing
4. Even tried the consol Cheat to level up to 11....... nothing.

Why am I capped at level 10?
