Zert was being set to OF_OFF on his san_dying script.
The san_resurrect script was supposed to unset the global flag 700, but Reincarnation wasn't rigged to trigger it. Will issue a fix.
I assume you've hosed your save where he's just a blue circle, but it's possible to solve the issue by unsetting Zert's OF_OFF flag in the console, if that's still relevant.
Thius apppears to be a different issue than the OP though.
Yea, I have no idea what you just said. I've never messed around with ToEE scripts, just Baldur's Gate Mods. Not really sure if I want to learn either, so much brain power was already used for BG, think it's just easier to drop Zert and replace him with a Orc or somethin.... Thanks though, now that I know its just his script I dont have to worry about other NPC's.
Just use Terjon's Raise Dead instead of Jaroo's Reincarnation for followers and it should be fine.
As for what he just said... the Object Flag_OFF was turned off in Zert's dying script which basically turned Zert off, it is possible to turn OF_OFF back on again via console, but first you need his proto ID from oname.mes and find a script to type in the console that finds him by his ID number and set his OF_OFF back on.
