    Ahhh, so you escape by using the Worldmap. Hmmm...

    Well, guys, we're taking these issues seriously but apparently there have been no changes to that part of the map in the latest mod. :shrug: But we'll keep working on it.

    I have a couple of complaints about the new shop map:

    We need to include non-masterpiece versions of ALL the exotic and other non-standard weapons. By the time they are available in the game, the character is too far developed. I want to START with a chain or orc double-axe.

    There needs to be an option to start with a full kit of equipment for each character and still go to the shop map. Especially since we are starting with only 500 gp.

    Positive comment: I LOVE THE DAGGERFALL LAUGH WHEN THE PARTY LEAVES THE SHOP MAP. Daggerfall was one of the first pc games I ever got. In Morrowind, I miss the constant dying, and Oblivion isn't as good as that.

    People seem to be laboring under the mistaken notion that starting gold was reduced for the new shop map. That is not so. Nothing was changed as far as that goes. When 5.5 comes out, the option to choose to start naked and weaponless will probably be eliminated (you'll just start with basic starting gear), but as of right now that option is still available at installation.

    And the laugh's got nothing to do with Daggerfall; that's Zuggtmoy. ;)

    So it's been Zuggy laughing at me all these years as I've prepared to kill myself yet again in Pirate's Cove.

    The starting gold is the original 500 gp, but not with the additional gold you got for starting naked.

    Also, if I choose an exotic weapon feat for a starting character, I don't always get the weapon at start.

    No reply or action is really needed for this. Thanx. :wavey:

    Which weapons? If you are using some of the new monk weapons, that can be fixed: they may be missing fromt he PC start file.

    Orc Doubleaxe will not show up for Exotic Weapon or Weapon Focus. A Battleaxe shows instead.

    Dwarven Waraxe, Spiked Chain and Repeating Crossbow do show up. As do Kukri and Gnome Hooked Hammer.

    Will post more as I discover their status.

    Thanks: I definitely remember fixing the repeater, and you should get bolts as well.

    I still don't get why all the healing spells not to mention any other target spell you can use on your party allow you to usttilize the portraits at the bottom of the screen but the palidin "Lay on Hands" you can't!~why!>? Plus if so why can't you hide the portraits with a button set like you can in other party styl games>? IF they are not necessary then why not toggle them off? Also I want to say that Zuggmoy has a problem with some of my priestesses mabye its because she is a powerfull demoness but I keep losing my attacks with some of my characters and booster spells like dispel evil like right after I cast them>?
    Good job on the node scather fix for 5.0.6 guys thats not bad, not flawless but way better not just a good job that was a great job it would seem! I also encounter occational errors with my rogue not finding secret passageways for some reason and he has his skill extreamely high, again mabey its a shut off toggle somewhere in the script because it doesn't always occure only certain games I start up>? Next I will say that the spells need to be majorly tested in all combat situations becasue alot of them are crude so I would suggest bug repair for the older ones that don't work like dispel evil and greater and break enchantment because they only take the good spell off and not the bad! Plus the necalace of adaptation need to block the demons breath weapons that effect status on the party, not necessarily damage but immunities to desease like palidins get after a set level may need a repair to block status effects of breath weapons from certain demons in the nodes and zuggmoy in the end also!

    1. Burne's dialog probably needs fixes:

    If it is not a bug (but questionable on that state of the game) that you are allowed to solve his puzzles before "game.story_state <= 3" (that means visiting Nulb) it is needed line:

    2. Line {860} needs flags to prevent being granted acces to Nulb before dealing with Moathouse. While talking first time you can ask for time to finish castle and dialog goes to this line allowing it. It should be like this:

    Burne's dialog has probably more bugs but I am not eager to track them one by one. But of course dialog works generally.

    3. In Feldrin dialog there are doubled options:

    4. Orc bowmen in the cave are standing behind the fireplace, so they don't see the group and don't fight. If they are - they don't use animations. Arrows are shot from "air" or their stomach...

    5. Riana's dialog has mixed states:

    7. Serena can't be joined after you didn't ask her to do so, freeing her. That makes no sense while you can later join Riana but not her.

    From interior of the Tower Ruins I'm teleported to the Gnarley Forest (or sth) and from Orc's cave to the Tower Ruins external map.

    Have you installed the latest fixes in the CMF Submissions thread? I believe they fix those problems.

    These files are still conflicting Drow's inventory. He cannot have two types of arrows equipped and game crashes. You need to fix InvenSource.mes.

    Well, maybe that was already discussed, but when I try to travel via worldmap from Temple Ruined Tower anywhere, the path begins at old Hickory Branch location instead of Temple.

    I use the latest CMF release.

    And more - Cloak of Protection +4 (at least the one I got from Saduj) costs too few! (Hundreds of GPs instead of thousands).

    And more - Lamia can produce unlimited Longswords +3. Looks like she does not have Longsword +3 in her inventory, but "conjures" it when it is due to equuip the sword.
    So when I knock her unconscious while she does not wield the sword, she does not have it. But she is wielding it, I can loot it, heal her, wait until she equips another sword, knock her down, loot, heal, wait, knock her, loot... Weird, is not it?
