Game of Thrones TV series

I've read all the books except the last one which is still in hard back over here.
Does anyone know how many books he plans?
If there isn't a finite number less than 10 I'll probably bail on the series.

 

He's planing on a 7 book series but if he uses too many words it may have an 8th volume. No wheel of time thing gonna happen with this. Apparently hes told major plot points to the producers of the tv series incase he dies but that seems unlikely and he wont let another author finish it.

 

I can take 8 I guess that means three more years.

 

Neither watch nor read the story. It seems the story is great because people here are amazed with the story and they really recommended to watch or read the two of it. Well then, I will read it and share some interesting lines and story of it. I would love to give my thoughts about it. Thanks for those posts.
