So, I avoided this when reviewing spells, because I figured that being a 4th level spell, it couldn't be the same thing as the 8th level spell.

And I was right. The current spell is bizarre. It only allows you to target yourself, causing a large radius burst out from you, like bless. What it appears to do is entangle people in the area of effect. But to avoid entanglement requires a will save instead of a reflex save. Looking at the script, it also does something to the caster, but I'm not really sure what.

Anyhow, I'll fix the spell to do what the SRD says, and move it to 8th level, because the current implementation is just weird.

Interesting - it looks like it's supposed to be an 8th level Druid spell too (not 4th), and not a ranger spell at all (as opposed to 3rd level Ranger).

    [edit]

For reference purposes, I added SRD vs. ToEE language to the list above for Domains 1 - 5. Initial opinions:

    • The 'wrong' indicators in red don't imply any commentary from me on whether the right ones are doable or not; they're just flags.
    • We should probably hang onto the custom Dispel [insert element here] spells (which appear to be non-core), since Troika made them and they exist and sort of fill the voids.
    • We should probably not remove any wrongly slotted 1 - 5 domain spells that aren't supposed to be at a different level (e.g. Chain Lightning), since their places on the domain list, while not RAW, are at least Troika. Unless we can and care to make the right ones.

Re: the Druid's vestment. When you use wildshape hill giant form you are still medium sized and don't have the 10-foot reach or +4 size adjustment on trip attempts. When you cast enlarge person on the character it fixes both. Is it possible to have the item cast enlarge person on the character for the duration of the shape-change?

Are you sure on this, I haven't played a druid in a while, but I do remember using this item and getting the proper form, with the ground shaking effect when you run through the temple as a hill giant. Attacks did seem to have reach.

I got the ground shaking affect too and the large icon but no reach or opponents having to tumble because I was still considered medium sized (as the polar bear). If you cast enlarge person on the druid you get a huge icon but only a large size threat area and size adjustment on trip attempts. Druid's are supposed to be able to become a large animal at eighth level.

I can't remember. It was one of the premade characters that I was using to test the druid vestment and ring of change. I used the console to level her up and give her the two items.

Small druids transform into small versions, my halfling druid wold turn into small bears, they may have been medium sized, but definitely not large as they should have been. This may be what is happening.

I just did a test with a half-elf and although you cant see a circle around your hill giant character, you only have 5' reach.
We need the size mod code added to the item or spell like what is dorment and commented out in enlarge person or something that will give reach (bugbear two handed sword w 10' reach?) otherwise the shape is cute and all to look like but totally worthless. i.e

    #size mod
    ## print "Size:" + str(target_item.obj.obj_get_int(obj_f_size))
    ## print "Reach:" + str(target_item.obj.obj_get_int(obj_f_critter_reach))

Is there an easy way to give the giant a bugbear greatsword for the 10' reach so the form is useful?
