They were not removed. Did you get the other respawns (topside skels, gnoll skels in the gnoll area, witch and co. in Lareth's office)? And are you saying that skeleton gnolls were in the bugbear den instead of the other stuff?

Were there any bugbears in the room?
Perhaps the two behind the closed doors?

I think that prevents the undead from spawning.

I killed absolutely everything in the moathouse the first time through. I killed the 2 bugbears behind the doors. Everything about the moathouse respawn was correct, meaning I got all the regular respawns like Lareth's room and the outside skeletons and all the skeletons in the gnoll's room and the two bears and the swamp denizen and the werewolf/jackalwere and the blob/basilisk and the three little pigs. The only ones missing were the respawns in the bugbear's den. It was as empty as my soul.

    *edit*
Just to be clear, there were no enemies in Lareth's little office room connected to the larger room. All enemies were still in the main larger area. Was something supposed to be in Lareth's little room? I hope not because there wasn't anything in there.

No, I just mean that area in general.

I'll see if I can replicate the bugbear area thing.

I finished up my 5.9.0 game and have a few more bugs to report:

    22) When my wizard reached level 19, there were 3 new spell choices for level 9 spells. (I initially had 5 level 9 choices when they first became available). They were there again when he hit level 20. They were: All Die, Enslavement, and Infatuation. If I choose any of these 3 spells for my choices, it looks like they are accepted. However, once I have finished and the new hp is applied, I can go through my spell choices and they are not there. I suspect they shouldn't be really choices?

    23) I had a random encounter with some gnolls and wolves. One of the wolves began off the map. (I'm attaching a picture below). He didn't join the combat until I made a point to shoot him with a quarrel but then he did come over onto the map and attack me.

I had also reported that Senshock never showed up for me in VB. I tried a couple of times with reloads. However, when I finished the game, there was a mention about Senshock on the pages that go by to tell you how people turned out. It said something like Senshock fled the temple and went to VB where he tries to reset up his base. I thought I would mention this in case it shows that his flag was triggering but something is up with his appearance in VB.

I noticed in 5.9.0 that random encounters did not get very difficult in the later levels. In previous versions, you would fight ettins, trolls, wisps... something difficult. I found myself constantly fighting black bears, pirates, and stirges at level 15+

Was the random encounter setting messed with?

    Nope.

No idea. Sounds like something that a .dll guru would have to handle.

That's weird. Looks like that one wolf was spawned in blocking tiles, so he should have been stuck there.

Right Said Ted told us that they are only for testing. They are like 10th level spells and they don't have saves. All Die kills everyone, no save. I've already bugged him many times about having it in the game but he refuses.

I've had that several times over the years. Save and restart the game and it will be gone.

I REALLY miss the Boneblades from IWD, throw a few of those in. too, please.

Reading mmonagle's bug number 23 just reminded me of a weird phenomenon that I experienced only at one stage during my game when arriving at Nulb while playing 5.8.1 NC. My party had just arrived on the Nulb map when 2 ordinary village people (wearing light green robes or cloaks or clothes) were standing on or near the drawbridge (between my party and the buildings of Nulb) and they both walked in unison in a straight line northeast all the way to the edge of the map (they flew over the swamp and trees, they didn't trudge through the swamp water, they didn't disrupt the water nor leave any ripples). I remember that I kept reloading my last saved game and travelling to Nulb again, and those 2 village people kept appearing in the same spots and doing the same thing every time! However, I never experienced that phenomenon again after I continued my game.

Like Neco yesterday, I also played the Moathouse Respawn and never saw the bodaks and other undead in the old bugbear room.
Did not bother to reload, just thought I would add my report on that room

Fought all the drow in the tunnels and BIG difference in the XP rewards. No more leveling 4-5 times. Only leveled once. Also no more CTD when you try to loot the Drow Rogues.

I am pleased as punch. I finally got Senshock to appear in Verbobonc. The dialog is still a little twitchy but I outsmarted it and actually got to the trade screen. I will never again be crafting anymore wondrous items.

The problem is that when HE recognizes YOU, he attacks immediately. However, the attack doesn't actually happen. It just stays out of combat. Instead of talking to him with your face man, I chose to talk to him with my wizard and I got the trade screen.

Now we just need a cleric ringmaker and a druid wondrous item crafter and the world will be a perfect place.

I think the slaver fight is now grossly over-powered. I lost 4 and the sorceress killed all the children. Went to the viscount and ended the quest. Went to the castle to heal and raise dead. My pc wizard was the only visible body, the others didn't appear and where blue circles. Burne, Spugnoir and the pc rogue didn't appear. Couldn't raise them so they had to go out of the game.
No dialouge to complete the Cousins quest. Just weather/drow reports.
Not a happy ending to 5.9.1.
