trying to do the mona orb quest, requires talking to Mickey, who is usually to the south of the 'central' section of nulb. He is NOT there. Have waited, rested, passed time, left and come back, he never shows up. have walked all through nulb, no mickey. I have done NO OTHER quests anywhere else in nulb or hommlet except for the Giant Gar quest. Not sure if that impacts mickey showing up or not. has anyone else had this? When i played first time through, prepatch, mickey WAS there (i also did all hommlet quests that time).
are you looking at night? he's only there at night. otherwise he's at the brewery in hommlet. if he's not near the entrance to eastern tavern at night, then yes, yes it is a bug.
I had same problem.Try to arrange it so that you arrive in Nulb after dark.Worked OK for me if I did That.
i have definitely looked for him at night, but i was alredy in nulb passing the time. will leave, and come back hopefully at night offchance, do you know how long the travel time to nulb is from the temple? make it easier to time my arrival ... thanks
Hello guys and sorry to bring back an old thread. Is there some way to fix this problem because I still have it playing co8 modpack 5.8.1 NC BETA. Mickey doesn't appear at night in Nulb. I never had it playing the vanilla game with only the official patches. off-topic: Thank you guys for all what you are doing! I've played and finished this game when it was released and it has been a nightmare at that time. completely off-topic: Wouhou!!! This is my 1st post. EDIT: Actually, I've been able to get over this bug by going to Hommlet in the brewery during the day and hitting him dealing non-lethal damage (since I've a good aligned adventure party). I was then able to steal the orb for Mona from his body. The other NPCs in the brewery didn't attack me.
Also, when you pass time you need to do a transition, (either enter a building or leave town) for missing folks to show up.
