I compose while I am typing it. And yes, far as I know, each one is new. Too many by now to check. Some nights, I actually do the Mission poetically. Most nights, not.
I hope you had a good day and the night went well. The night's silence is gone, thank you cicadas. There are so many of them in the trees or where ever it is they live, that they make a very loud racket. And are they ugly? Shivers, yes they are. I really would not like one of them getting on me. Florida has more than it's share of bugs of all kinds and they tend to grow large here. Something I think is quite interesting, is how many people I have met in Florida that are terrified of...frogs. Now, why frogs? Fear of spiders and snakes, so I have been told, is an instinctive fear, but frogs? To all who will sleep on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Falling asleep in the dark works better than falling asleep in the light. Regardless, try to wake up in the light. May the Lady smile on me. G'Night.
I hope you had a good day and the night went well. Long day today and for no particular reason. Just felt long. To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: One nice thing about sleep... you can leave your priorities behind. Dreams don't seem to recognize the concept. Don't forget them, though, when you wake up. May the Lady smile on me. G'Night.
My dreams seem to be based on my priorities, my unconcious ones. That's why I remember them if I can.
Yes, it is good, When someone's dreams Do not concern Themselves with things, And only show sugar-land, Milk rivers, mountains of cheese... But mine are based on the deeds I have to do. Or on the girls in sunshine laying on the beach! I like my dreams! (You can see that I am not much of a poet )
When it is a recurring one, I do. And sometimes one will stick with me that isn't recurring. I try to figure out what those are about. Mine get weird, too. Very. _O:
Not as bad as the dreams I had the one and only time I ever took Nyquil for a killer cold. Never again. Never.
I just had a dream that I was on the john and my dog was laying on the floor near by and said "OPEN THE WINDOW". How cool is that? I swear I saw his mouth make the words and everything. I chock it up to me just missing my dog, (had to put him down last year) but still really cool. It was like I got to see him again.
I hope you had a good day and the night goes well. Bad storm again today. Many lighting bolts right over head, and one was so close I worried that it hit one of the live oaks next to my house. I shut off and unplugged my computer after that one. Then the power went out. It is still raining as I write...but not pounding down, so the drive home shouldn't be a problem. Something was making a lot of noise in the dumpster outside work. I did not go to investigate. Probably raccoons. Whatever it was had my blessing. After an untypically sedate dinner together, one of the other staff served us all home made peach ice cream. Fresh peaches, of course. We topped it off with home made peach jam. Yum. To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Delight in your dreams when they are joyful... they are rare and a blessing. Remember them when you wake up, but keep your feet on the ground nonetheless. May the Lady smile on me. G'Night!
Not to derail... My hearts with you, dude. It's been 3 years since I put down my lady. Cin (short for Cinnamon) was the best damn dog I ever knew/loved. Lived to almost 17 years (just a few weeks short of her B-day) before we had to put her down. Still miss her terribly.
I hope you had a good day and the night goes well. Another Friday night. Didn't we just have one? Is someone messing with the days of the week now? Just joking of course, but it does seem like this one came fast. I'm going to the movies Sun. Anybody have one they'd recommend? To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth, The Nightly Mission: Weird dreams are fun, blossoming out of your imagination and real life stressers. Enjoy them. When you wake up, try to see how they relate to your life. May the Lady smile on me. G'Night!
