I hope you had a good day and that the night went well.

Brrr. For Florida, it is very cold. And has been all day.

The neighborhood kids were out again today playing
basketball in their winter jackets. I did not notice any
body else outdoors except them. Everyone was either
inside their homes (or stores, I guess) or in their cars.

I don't know what homeless people do when it is this
cold outside. I know many of the local churches open
their doors to the homeless when the temp drops below
40 degrees F, but that's only at night.

My space heater manages to keep this room and the
bathroom warm enough, I guess, but I still have to
wear multiple layers of clothing. And my trusty arm
    warmers.

We are at the Winter Solstice. Since midnight last
    night.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth:

    The Nightly Mission:

One of the blessings you can count
tonight as you fall asleep is that you
    are warm.

And when you wake up in the morning
and drink your coffee, be glad you have
    that, too.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

Warmer today...and tonight. Strange how just a few
    degrees make so much difference.

Will be warmer here throughout Christmas. So much
for those who want snow. We will not have any here
    in Florida.

We did one year. I don't think it stuck, and can't
    remember when it was.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep well,
    Wake up tomorrow.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and that the night went well.

    Warmer still, just as forecasted.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep tonight with
    the Lady in your
    heart and perhaps
    she will send a
    blessing your way.

    Wake up tomorrow
    and put one foot
    in front of the other.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and night.

As promised, Christmas in Florida will be warm.

Happy Yule, Merry Christmas and if neither of those
apply, Happy Day (compliments of my Jewish friend)!

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Sleep with a smile in your heart,
and when you wake up in the
morning, it will be on your face.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night!

What are YOU playing this late in the morning?

I'm just back from DDO, where my Rogue Ranger got killed 3 times, and incapacitated 4 times, SUCCESSFULLY finishing Kobold Assault on elite.

Resurrect - Hit a few times - Die; Repeat... :p

I hope you had a good day and that the night is going well.

And I hope you had a great Yule (or Christmas, or whatever you
    celebrate).

    Mine was great.

The New Year is fast upon us. Time to think of your New Year's resolutions. Now that would be an interesting thread.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep well tonight
    and have the sweetest
    dreams to sail away on
    and carry the memories
    with you in the morning
    when you wake up.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good day and that the night goes well.

Early for me. I must be bored. Or something.

I am back out on the porch, for awhile anyhow.

Once it warmed up enough for them to unwrap their bushy tails
from around themselves, the squirrels were busy digging up the
acorns they buried for just such a time.

One lonely bird hopped around looking for something to eat. I
couldn't tell what kind it was.

And the buzzards were circling, but not over my house for a change.
But not far off, either - they were circling over the run off pond by the highway.

Now that Christmas is over and I don't feel obligated to eat something
more festive, I am having soup. No, not turkey noodle...hot and sour soup. I detest homemade chicken or turkey noodle soup. I don't know
why. I just plain don't like either one. I had a turkey breast for Thanksgiving, so I had steak for my Christmas dinner. It was great.
And nothing left over to make soup out of.

To all who will eventually sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Th Lady of Mercy grants her blessing
in many different ways, so it might
be helpful, if you are inclined to seek
her favor, to spend some time tonight
before you sink into sleep thinking
about just what it is you need, rather
than what you want. Perhaps when
you wake up in the morning, she will
    have granted your request.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me, too.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and night.

Cold again today. I slept a lot. Cold drives me under
the covers, fast. It would help...a lot...if I had more
than a space heater, but now it has become a matter
of principle. Actually, more a matter of endurance.

I saw Twilight, finally. I liked it. Didn't like all the casting,
though. I'd have picked someone else for Edward and Jacob.

Cold and lonely drive home. Cold seems to keep Floridians
    indoors. Me, too...mostly.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Warm heart, warm covers, warm feet,
big smile when you wake up the next
    morning. Hopefully.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and night.

Cold again. Takes a long time for the car warm up when you drive with the window part way down.

But almost no one on the road again. That probably means all the smart people are home and warm and only the idiots are driving. So it is probably more dangerous. Lovely thought. (Not that I consider myself one of the idiots...no I wouldn't go quite that far. Just insane.)

The full moon is coming soon.

Someone at work got me a tarot deck. I have been going to discussion classes on tarot, and have wanted a deck. Now I have one. A real one, not a cyber tarot. Thank you, Trish!

To all who sleep tonight (or will) on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Ask the Lady for her will to be known
before you go to sleep and get ready,
when you wake up the next morning,
for a ride. At the very least, your
    dreams will be memorable.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

Remember to constantly handle the cards, shuffling and re-shuffling, to get them infused and attuned with your own energy before you use them.

Also the main reason why you never use another persons' Tarot deck for readings. It must be your own.

Lol, I've been reading tarot cards for about 8 years, now, and never have I given my attention to the 'rules' of tarot reading, or even the slightest hint of 'guidelines'. Tarot is all about your gut feelings and what seems right to you. If a particular guideline doesn't feel right to you, then it probably isn't.

I've given readings with friend's cards before and they work just fine, but it also felt right to use them. Go with your feelings.

Lol, pretty sure I've 'tempted the fates' plenty in my lifetime, in multiple aspects of the phrase. ;P
