They are actually. Level 20 is the default setting. You have to manually set anything other than that.
Ok i will try 5.5.0 mod Ok i need a litle more help What you think of this party 1.Barbarian 2.Ranger 3.Rogue 4.1 spell caster 5.1 healer Now WIzard or Sorcer And Monk or Druid And i wont take any NPC help, since they share xp but when i think better maybe i can take 1npc
Monks are not healers, they are unarmed fighters. So your choice for healers come down to druids and clerics. Clerics are better healers in terms of gaining healing spells quicker, but druids have some great low level spells like Entangle to control the monsters. Wizard vs. Sorcerer is a tough call. Sorcerers gain spells quicker, but they are limited to only the spells you choose each level. They cannot learn new spells from scrolls. Wizards gain spells a little slower, but they have a much wider accessibility to spells. Both would be good, just make sure you pick the right spells if you are a sorcerer. If this is your first time playing in a while, I would go with Wizard so you could try out new spells you find.
That's just plain wrong. At level 3 Wizards are casting 2nd level spells, while Sorceror is stuck with level 1. Sorcerors get more spells per day, per level, but Wizards can get any spell they find a scroll for and they get them a level earlier. Wizards also get a free Magic Feat every 5 levels, Scribe Scroll for free at level 1, and their key stat means a lot more skill points.
That's a heavy spellcasting party. I'm not sure about the Cleric & Wizard though - you're putting off getting higher level spells, which IMO is never a good thing. I made a mistake of going for 2 sneakers (Rogue/Fighter & Ranger) but sneak doesn't seem to work very well now. Even my Halfling Rogue with starting 20 Dex, maxed skills and the Cloak/Boots of Elvenkind seems to get spotted by everything. Maybe it's a Co8 thing, because I don't recall this being a problem when I played the game originally. On that basis I might go: Barbarian 1/Fighter X Rogue 4/Ranger X Druid Wizard Cleric
What I meant was that sorcerers gain the ability to cast more spells quicker. They are able to cast more per day than wizards, they are just limited in what they can cast.
I really do not see much of a benefit for using a Sorcerer over a Wizard. I specialise my wizard so he can cast just 1 fewer spell per day than a sorcerer of each level. Also, I tend to always cast the same spell over and over again. If I need something different, I find a place to rest. If you plan to craft any magical items, a wizard is a must. The reason is that the wizard gets bonus feats to take the item creation feats. Also, you need to learn certain spells in order to create certain items. I wouldn't take a spell for a sorcerer just to make an item if I do not intend to actually cast that spell often. For a wizard, the cost of learning a spell is just gold and there is plenty of gold in them there game.
reason: case of bad seeing dynamic choice of spells, dynamic metamagics = superior battlecaster, it's that easy  yes, it's best to have a wizard in your party, for crafting and certain spells you wouldn't pick for your sorc. no reason to not have a sorc as well. but you can give your sorc craft wand and make missile/fireball wands or stoneskin wands. DnD sikrit: the more casters the more pwnage. yes it's true. hardly a problem with Co8 mod (and without the lvl10 cap)
I chosed chaotic neutral since i want a druid and a ranger in party. ANd i cant pass the intro scene I cant open the 2nd chest inside the left door, its locked. Help pls
What is your Rogue's Picklock skill? I assume he has a decent Dex? To unlock the chest, select your Rogue and have him use the Picklock skill (from the radial menu) on the chest.
