    I can somehow see Larry Laffer hanging out at the brothel in Nulb, but I think King's Quest would be more fitting methinks :yes:

    What does 'less humble NPCs mean', exactly? Also, where do feature requests go? I'd like to see if there's some way that the Goodberries from the Druid spell of the same name could be made to stack. It makes no sense that scrolls and even potions can stack but not these.

    Thats a reasonable request.

    'Less Humble NPC's means redoing the Humble NPCs mod so it does everything it should - allow you to control and micromanage your NPCs directly - but not allowing things it shouldn't, such as recruiting NPCs just to rip off their ring of invisibility or magic axe and armour then dismissing them.

    This looks amazing for RP, for sure. I don't steal from the NPCs since I have beggined to play the Co8 mods - they was easy XP before this; The only problem about this is that a True Evil party shall no more hire a drunk or a thief in the town and kill him at the woods for his stuffs...
    But the problem is: Are ya going to make some key itens to be fixed at the NPC? Like magic itens or something? I always "turn on" the humble NPC option becose they all have a little problem with wheight. If ya put a barbarian armour and a elven shield in Meleny, his initial dress will make her incumbered. The same for Serena and Zaxys, just to say. There are a complexe mathematics about NPCs and his possessions, that don't really are present at Vanilla (once ya don't was able to take anithing from the NPCs, except in a merchant, after some time...).

    (After all, make no sense to ahare the loot with the NPCs, once they don't use the itens they keep!)

    So, please, be careful about the Humble NPC thing, aye? Well, I know ya will be... But I remember the time of the Vanilla when Meleny and Zaxys became incumbered avery time the party loot something...

    Come across a few bugs:

    Wizard cantrips, first spell in the list: gives me an error like "Error: spell name missing" or something like that. It doesn't crash or anything although I haven't tried memorizing the spell ^_^

    V. MINOR SPOILER: the room at the Moathouse with those horrible vampire bats that drain your blood is bugged, the bats bug when combat starts and they either dont move or somehow teleport outside the room or some of them dont have any hitpoints etc, combat just grinds to a standstill as the bats try to take their turn.

    Thats it for now. Boy this game is slow but its enthralling as you get into it.

    Found another bugged spell, this time its the 3rd level arcane spell list, 5th or 6th spell down, the one above Fireball. Again the message is something like "Error missing data from spells/mes.610" or something.

    Where is the bug post thread? I had a quick look but nothing jumped out at me.

    BTW Ted and all other Modders-Extraordinaire... What is the process for fixing little bugs like the ones he is mentioning?

    Is there a 5.6.1 to be released... or do we wait for the next Big go around..? And will old saves be wiped?

    Yes there will be a 5.6.1 coming out very soon (I am working on it as we speak) and no, it shouldn't involve starting a new game.

    Could not replicate this, although I notice that that niggly problem of there being two spell level descriptions is back.

    Was able to replicate this one.

    Could not replicate. The stirges behaved just fine for me. You're not doing anything unusual like playing with old saves are you? Did you allow the module activation to finish?

    And thanks guys(too many Modders to mention, plus I don't even KNOW them all- LOL Gaear, Agetian, Allyx etc...)- for working so hard and fast on "fixing" your already BEAUTIFUL Masterpiece...

    Hmm, really? I'll have another look at the sturges, maybe it was a temporary thing. I started a game with a fresh install of Co8, and I waited for it to finish. Maybe just corrupt files?

    Encountered a new bug today, when I spontaneously convert an extended shield of faith into a heal spell it doesn't 'use up' the spell. So I can infinitely cast it =o untested on other spells/spell combinations yet.
