Has anyone used one of those 3g cards on their laptop as an internet connection?

    Does it work well?

Sorry, my good friend, can't answer that. However, per your post, if i infer the meaning correctly, are you back with us, on a regular basis? I hope so, you've been missed!!

Presently, I am taking my laptop to a local Eat and Barf they has a WiFi connection. I'm there 2 or 3 times a week, but I don't stay there long.

    I'll be back...:dead:l:cool:

I'm not really back! I'm only on 2 - 3 times per week. At least until I get a new home connection. But, thanks anyway.

I'm currently using a mobile broadband USB dongle, paying £15 per month for 5 gigs down/upload limit which has a horrific per minute charge should this limit be reached and a 18 month contract. Generally it's not too bad, I lose connection at times, but it's normally just a matter of restarting the dialer program and unplugging/plugging in the USB dongle to fix the problem - though I did have around a month worth of horrific connection problems when they upgraded the mobile masts in my area, I couldn't keep a connection longer than 5 minutes at a time.

I think I'm going to get the unlimited for $35 per month.

Plus, school starts on the 24th. I'll be on campus 4 days per week. ;)
