I've looked around and I've found a few references to an issue I've been having, and i've only found old topics about a temple.dll fix for older versions. I'm using Co8 5.5.0 with Atari patches 1&2, and the 33kb NoCD. Running on Windows XP-SP2. When I exit the game, I get an error with TOEE.exe sometimes (does not happen every time, but very often). Is there any workaround for this? I'm not sure if it is affecting the stability of the game as I play it, or the stability of TFE-X.
I don't think that error really does anything. It's a crash on exit, shouldn't be too bad, just annoying.
Yep, it's a known issue. Even had it myself quite a few times. Doesn't affect the game or gameplay, but it can cause unneccessary worry, anger, and other unwanted emotions. You'll be fine. You have lots of helpful people here! :thumbsup:
The best thing to do to deal with this problem is to click "End now" when the "ToEE has encountered a problem and needs to close" box pops up. Then click "Don't send" on the "Do you want to send a report" box. This fixes it every time. :yes:
