    Speaking of enthralled...

On Last.fm, I have a library...some ***kicking music, imo. Don't exactly know how you do it, but you can go there and listen. If you do, and it works, please tell me. (Right this minute, you might not like it, though. It's doing hallelujahs.)

btw, this is not to take away from maggit's music. I'd add MindSedge to the list, if I knew how. Something to work on, I guess.

Haha! We're already there, so you can't take attention away from us. :D
Some tracks are free to download, some are free to listen, but others are
only 30 second bits, and some tracks are just not on last.fm
You can listen to those which have the little black "play" circle on them.
    http://www.last.fm/music/Mindsedge

Just download the tracks and listen to them to add them to your library. Alternatively,
you can click on the grey 'cog' button thingie and choose the option "add to my library"

One thing I don't like about Last.fm is that you can search for a track there, and they'll say they have it, but then they don't. :blegh:

Done! Hey, that was easy. You are now among the ranks of Jocelyn Pook, Robert Miles, Azam Ali (and Vas), Lisa Gerrard, Yoko Kanno, Maaya Sakamoto, Kokia, Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone and others. In fact, you are right between Maaya Sakamoto and Kokia.

I like women's voices, particularly wailing voices. But I also like Nico Case and My Morning Jacket, practically every oldie ever played, and Native American flautists (sp?). I lose myself in Trance (don't have my name for nothing).

I don't know how to navigate Last.fm very well...I thought all you had to do was type in my name and you could hear my library, but guess not.

Currently, 'Fable' by Miles is playing. One of my favorites. Driving drum beat nearly kills me. And you can match your heartbeat up with that cut.

As soon as you started the thread I did a search for Scryler and found you, but didn't leave any shouts or messages because I had no certainty it was you. :p After all someone could have taken that nickname earlier.

The search engine is a little quirky but you'll get a hang of it. ;)

Try changing the category you're searching for and you'll find what you're looking for. :)

    You benefit from more plays?

I see our music compatibility is low. Is that why you weren't sure it was me?

I am a diverse person, maggit. Not to say, sometimes perverse.

I have got to stop reading this forum when I am cooking. Nearly set the house on fire.

Neat :) ... just listening to the Lisa Gerrard stuff. I remember being very impressed with her from back in her Dead Can Dance days. (Pretty sure this is the same person.)

I agree that women tend to be far better singers. In fact, men shouldn't even be allowed to sing unless there are no women around to do it. ;)

p.s. - Yeah, that's definitely her. She also sang on the Gladiator soundtrack.

    [edit]

 Neat that maggit showed how to find users, not that Scryler set the house on fire.

The fanboys have been too busy, lately. One extreme to the other. What's a Queen to do?

'Off with their heads', of course!

Lisa Gerrard, eh? Yvy was asking about who sang on Gladiator.

Two fake meat patties into the garbage. This time, it was the phone, not the computer.

And -- to those of you who asked -- the pan is ok. I use cast iron. Double-duty as a weapon.

    One patty left. Here's hoping.
