I tried to get stats 12 or over with 3 above 16. Took me 308 rolls to get a good one.

I made my alignment CG and then I found I couldn't have a monk cause I wasn't lawful. so going back I loose my roll. Could you guys maybe make a way to go back and no not your rolls?

Unless I've clicked on the finish button, I don't think I've ever lost my stat rolls. I go back to change or look at stuff all the time...change gender, hair, alignment, etc.

    Maybe I'm not remembering accurately.

And if you DID lose the data.. you could really just choose ANY set of rolls, and alter the stats once you started the game via the console commands...

If you search the forums for Console you will get the whole procedure, but you can have any stats you want that way. Overpowered is too easy IMHO though, I go for decent stats but not great ones, I actually enjoy playing one character in the party with at least 2 stats under 12- sometimes under 10! You'd be surprised just hw well you CAN play witht he "average joe" heroes...

You choose your party alignment before you roll anything. CG means no Monks or Paladins. Use the rolls for something else, back out. Start a new game with no Chaotic.

Monks are hard to roll. When a roll is almost right, go ahead and make a monk. Then start rolling again, until you get better. If you get good rolls, but not what you want, make something with them and save it for another game.

If you want, go back and delete all the "bad" monks. Once I used "spare" rolls to make a dwarven monk (bored). Turned out to be an excellent monk. I still use him.

I just wanted my monk to be good. I agree with having some average joes.

I made an elven wizard once with 8 strength using bows. I usually avoid 18 stats as a beginning stat as well. My warriors usually have a 15 to 17 most in prime stats.

There is an easier way than that.
Go into custom stats... and you will have 25 points to play with from the base 9... adjust your stats to what you and then drop then in the attribute slots. hit keep and bingo you're done...
