    Did anyone besides me get their ass kicked by Hurricane Ike?

    I still don't have power (or internet). Worse than that, when I patched the hole in my roof, I think I sealed something in my attic. Something that is active only at night...

    I'm at WORK when I'm on the net these days. As proof that I don't have home access: note the dearth of unhelpful smartass remarks (except, of course, for yours) this last week or so. We've been reduced to very primitive conditions: I have to use PEN and PAPER. Oh the humanity...

    Still no F'ing power. And here I am living in the country that INVENTED electricity. It's like I live in a third world country like (wisely leaves this blank).

    If we see it, we prevent it, or at least intervene in some fashion. People carrying loot can't run very fast. However, all we've seen is people getting belligerant at the FEMA POD's.
