I remember reading somewhere that there is a way to make the NPC stats appear just like the PCs. Would it be convenient to show us how that is achieved? Edit: Let's get you to the right part of the forum Basil. - Zeb
I don't know if it's possible to display them directly, but you can just look at their skill level bonuses and infer them that way...
I'm pretty sure I read about direct display possibilities. Of course I can figure out the stats under normal circumstances, but seeing them normally is both a convenience and cosmetic issue.
I think it would need a .dll hack Basil. The possibility is obviously there but finding someone willing, able and with the time to do it is another thing altogether.
The actual stats are posted in various places. I used to write them down for a while when Co8 allowed me to level NPC's myself. Need anyone's in particular? (Or just the ability to check?)
Well, what Basil is asking, is the principle i've tried to find to have big portraits for NPCs. If you found a way to do that, then please, post it! It could give some clues about how to recover the pics. Havinga full body for joinable npcs would be great. Think on boobs: Meleny? Serena-Rianna combo?? DARLEYYYY :dribble: Seriously speking, i think it's omething related to being PC or NPC. I've seen that NPC portraits entries start from the second pic, this being the small color one, so i just changed that to big, but nothing, they just got the second anyways.
I should have specified more clearly. I am also interested in getting the buggy weapon tabs to work for NPCs. I read HKs ins and outs of using the tabs for PCs, but I thought there was also a way to activate them for NPCs. Or NOT!
HK - won't it be related to how NPCs function within the game engine itself? ie needing some work done within the engine? The game distinguishes between PC and NPC, so finding out where it does that and tweaking it would not only allow for what you want but also help with a more elegant fix to looting issues and having NPC in slot 1. :smoke:
Sadly, i think that's exactly the issue. unfortunately, i dunno how to read the dll. I've used the notepad to edit it, but it did nothing. neither changed anything, nor caused the dll to broke  Btw, how are your scripting skills? a bit of help with new spells could be useful
Just want to double-check: with Humble NPCs, all gold goes to the PCs? The zeros I see in the NPC money boxes is accurate? The full-share / half-share is meaningless?
Humm, the NPCs money boxes always show as zeros, afaik. Their gold is showed directly in one of their inventory slots.
