    ah, ok, i forgot about that.

    I've not done it yet (meaning i reloaded from before i did it), but it appears that they only way to find the last one is to have some divining done, but too bad there isn't another way.

    At least there doesn't appear to be any other way because once you start that dialog with him, there is no stopping it.

    I'm also suppose to find some books for the guy in jail, but nothing really jumps out as to what books are needed for this little quest.

    and I bought an astrolabe from someone because "oh, i am looking for an astrolabe, do you have one?" but why was I looking for one? If I have no active quest for it, then why was I looking for one?

    Is everything named "ancient ....." suppose to be sellable to the archaic society?

    I found an ancient coin, but I get no dialog option to sell it to them.

    also, it would be a nice touch to try and haggle with them to get better offers from them. Just more social skills that could be utilized.

    The glyphs are at
    Loot inside rusty monster under the Cove, on the pirates Island inside a chest in the harbour, inside Mr Tremms House ground floor loose brick in the hearth, Luxwoods dropped by Gila, under the Stronghold inside a chest guarded by the Stone berserkers

    Were there any other glitches that you saw after playing with Temple+?

    I've been so busy but wanting to play it with Temple just for the extra feats and class options.

    When going to the Guildhouse and talking to Octavian, after the first couple of slides you only get number 1. as option, with no words or nothing then the game quite simply freezes,. I've had to actually hard turn off the computer to start again, no exit options, not even Alt+Del thingy worked...

    You could still give it a go... That way we'll verify the glitches. What have you got to lose ( other than , perhaps, having to restart your computer :rolleyes: )

    Ah... I thought I had that fixed. Thanks for letting me know. Should have time to look at that soon.

    I have encountered two glitches, one of which, the fact that "Line 4127 missing in mes/gd-npc-m2f.mes" flashes up when the party is about to turn towards the warehouse, might be the result of me running Temple plus.

    The second glitch, I believe that the creature residing on line 14020 of proto.tab has a more important type than humanoid, has nothing to do with Temple plus.

    Thanks for digging up more bugs:

    1. The "Y:." typo was meant to say "Y:". It is now fixed.

    2. The "page 3 of 4" on the slide was not meant to be there. It is now removed.

    3. That quest that Mabon offers has not been written yet, "They Dug too Deep" (quest #128).
    It will be the follow follow-up quest to "Digging up the Past" (quest #127).
    I've now made this clear in the dialog, and also in the list of quests.

    4. I'll add a 3rd response to Peck, that is kinder. Good idea. Fixed

    I'll get to all the other messages later on tonight, sorry, getting lazy. o_O

    Looks like part of the problem is in the temple+ executable's dialog parsing code... will get that fixed. Thanks for the help.

    Hey, let's see what going on with that quest.
    The quest is named "Paladin's Fall", and it's quest #29, just for reference.
    There are several requirements for that quest to become available:
    1. It must be Chapter 3.
    2. You must be on good terms with Vendetta. ( If he is giving you rude float message when you try to talk, then you can't open a real dialog, and you can't get the quest)
    3. Scutty Gartooth (the old man by the docks) and his buddy Sir Witkos must both still be alive.

    For now, I'm going to let the Temple+ experimentation play itself out.
    I really don't have it in me to get involved in that.

    Yes, that's the only option at that point, I'm afraid. If you don't find them in your adventures, you can either blindly stumble around on every map you've every been to (highly not recommended), or ask Riss to divine the location.

    There may have be a sizeable library you ran across in one of your early adventures. Try searching there.

    This one is all my fault. You're right. You have no reason at all to be asking for an astrolabe, it doesn't make sense.

    It's incorrectly there because there's an unwritten part of the quest with the Elven smith who is watching the stars to find the falling Mithral. Once I add it, he'll ask you to find an astrolabe so he can better trace the stars in order to locate the falling mithral. The trail to find an astrolabe will lead you to the captain who has one. But I never got around to adding that part to the plot of that quest. So the dialog doesn't match up logically.

    Until that part of the quest exists, I'll just change the dialog to say something like "Do you have any interesting items a bold adventurer like me might want?".

    For now, you can just sell it.
    Unintentional, almost everything you can sell to the Archaic Society begins with "ancient" or "artifact", but not everything. Here's the full list, if you're interested. It's not really a spoiler.

    {12870}{Ancient Vase}
    {12871}{Ancient Vase}
    {12872}{Ancient Vase}
    {12873}{Ancient Goblet}
    {12874}{Ancient Pendant}
    {12875}{Ancient Figurine}
    {12876}{Ancient Figurine}
    {12877}{Ancient Figurine}
    {12878}{Artifact Tools}
    {12879}{Artifact Trinkets}
    {12882}{Onyx Statue}
    {12883}{Bronze Statuette}
    {12890}{Artifact Shards}
    {12891}{Artifact Pieces}

    If you are referring to the copper coin you find in the pool, then you don't want to sell it. It's magical, and very useful. Identify it and you'll see.

    Yes, I'll eventually do a scripted price change based on your Appraise skill, when you sell them artifacts. It's on the very long list. ;)

    I hate those total freeze-ups. :mad:

    Is this with Temple+?
    Was this the initial conversation at the very start of the game, when you first enter the Guildhall?
    Was it repeatable after reboot?
    If so, what was the last successful line before the freeze?
