    The cost of Mithral Full Plate forge is 5775 gp and 462 xp. The toll is substantial - that's the regulation :)

    Quite large endeavor I might say. It took me month to finish Orc Stockade and Caves level 1.

    Orc Stockade for example has 22 encounters.

    Did you do that map or is from KotC? If the former, what tileset thing did you use?

    I actually redid 4 maps from my previous release 01 and started using KoTC ones. Aparently Pierre designed them on some isometric tool and rotated to be orthogonal in KoTC. I rotated back, and it fits ideally.

    This mod (Knights of the Sword, KoTS) will introduce Spontaneous Clerics and Wizard classes: Cleric Sp, Wizard Sp. Just like original KoTC (Knights of the Chalice) created by Pierre.

    What
    These two classes will have access to spells just like RAW classes have, meaning 2nd level spells on level 3, not on level 4 like Sorcerers or Favorite Soule have. Two new spells to be learned each level-up on any level. Wizards Sp would have bonus feats and Scribe Scroll just like Wizards have. And Clerics Sp would have domain spells just like RAW Clerics have.

    Wizard Sp and Cleric Sp can learn new spell from a scroll (not sure if it's possible though) or by Knowstones dropped as loot or bought in stores.

    Why?
    Two main reasons:
    1) Resting places would be very limited. There will be quite a lot of dungeons where Player would be stuck ten's of encounters without any possibility to Rest. And it's awesome from gameplay POV!

    2) Player can try different tactics for different encounters, and would not be limited to what he thought will be necessary while picking spells during Rest.

    3) Learning spells still impose decision making and planning on level-up. Scrolls as loot is very scarce.

    Nice work.


    Just a suggestion, but it seems to me that you could add the warlock class for those that want/need unlimited spells for this module. Warlock is all about never having to rest.

    (Instead of or in addition to creating new special classes.)

    The Warlock requires a lot of work to be added. But the good news is, it is on my ToDo list :)

    I will make appropriate changes to the code, which will check if KotC is installed. Not having the original game will not allow moving between maps, including leaving Shop Map.

    If Pierre would decide to cease the module, I will undoubtedly stop.

    KotC, aside of being one of the best D&D game, is incredibly nice designed combat game. Personally I consider Pierre to be tactics genius. Porting his work to ToEE\T+ is like learning from Master.
