Temple+ Runtime Error

    I will have to get back to you on that. I tried to run Windows update last night and it 'failed' to apply the updates, and the rollback it did seemed hinky. It took me about a dozen reboots before my computer didn't hang on login, so I'm going to have to do a proper reformat next week (which was gaining priority anyway) before I can test for sure. Suuuuuper stoked about the introduction of prestige classes!

    A few questions to lead up to a reformat:

    1. How do I backup my saves/etc to make sure I don't have to restart? I *just* beat Zuggy and started on the postgame Co8 stuff so would hate to have to start that over again.

    2. Will 1.0.15 work with my 1.0.13 save file? Will the new content? Or is it advisable to start the new version with a new game?

    3. Keep on the Borderlands - Would setting that up 'override' the regular ToEE game, or are the rules sets swappable in the Co8 launcher?

    1. Your saves are located in your ToEE folder under modules\ToEE\Save.
    2. Yes, 1.0.15 will work with 1.0.13 saves.
    3. They're technically swappable via TFE-X, but the swapping is quite far from instant. I recommend just duplicating the entire folder and activating KotB there. You can then point Temple+ to that folder via the Temple+ Configuration utility.

    I get the runtime error too. Temple+ hardly seems worth it, given all the problems I've had with it

    It is so worth it.

    My ULTIMATE issue was a borked SSD. Something about it was keeping Windows from updating, which meant I wasn't getting DirectX 11, which is why Temple+ was having issues.

    Having replaced the drive (and upgraded it because why not), and updated Windows properly, I am happy to report that everything seems to be working perfectly.

    Thirteen, make sure you have Windows updated. DirectX11 updates are, to my understanding, only delivered through updates.

    I've had no issues with it, but I am a few updates behind the current version.

    @Thirteen IMHO you should first fix your broken ToEE installation before making judgement on Temple+

    It's surprising what a re-activation of a module can do to a game that's running kind of wonky.

    Be sure to re-install any add ons you might have after the re-activation i.e. ... Portrait packs and such.

    I think your GPU (GMA 3150) is not supported. Sorry.

    Aw that sucks. I just wanted the alt-click sell feature of your mod. Are there any versions of your mod that is compatible with my gpu?

    If the issue is with DirectX 11 compatibility (which I'm guessing, since it seems the GMA 3150 is an older model), then you would be able to use up to 1.0.13 , which is the last version before the DX11 upgrade. What that means is that you won't have access to a loooot of improvements (including prestige classes and Alt+Click selling), but you will still at least have access to all the other wonderful stuff that Temple+ had before then. I did a full run-through of the game on 1.0.13 and it was still a great experience.

    Give this a try and see if it works for you (I think you just need the TemplePlusSetup.exe file but Sitra will probably be on sooner than later to clarify. :) ).

    Yeah, 1.0.13 was before the DX11 overhaul so it should work. I can perhaps backport the alt-sell to that branch for you.

    That would be a huge boon to anyone stuck on the old versions, I think. Selling was one of those UI things I actively hated but didn't think to request improvement on before you already fixed it. :)
