Would my rogue's low STR being affecting her to hit? I didn't think it did. It seems she misses a lot.

Thought I'd be getting plenty of shots in even if a low damage.

No, but low strength will affect damage.

You may be firing at a target who has 'cover' from another person between them. The target gets a +4 AC bonus from this cover. This AC bonus can only be seen by examining the target's AC in the combat window. This is often overlooked by player's since it seems that the arrow is passing through just fine. You want to aim your shots as often as possible so that there is no one between you and your target.

Levelling up my wizard, who has greater spell focus enchantment, but I can't choose Suggestion from the list. Has something changed?

 

Ok. So what I understand is I'll be able to add the dominate monster scroll I bought to my wizard's spell list when I reach a certain level. Not in the list of spells. I guess that goes for a lot of information about beyond 10th level.

 

Yeah I thought to do so and scribe some scrolls but it doesn't come up as an option, even to use the scroll is not possible.

 

To be clear, it's Amario the Cabinet Maker who makes masterwork bows after you solve the Woodcutter's problems.

Yeah thanks, since equipped my halfling rogue with a masterwork shortbow, from above said dude, and crafted it into a magic +3 shortbow.
Time to add some energy effect damge from 8th lvl...
On another note i got my rogue's AC up to 38. Crazy. She just shoots from wherever she likes.

 

Actually I just got her AC 40.
Reduce Person and higher caster level Shield of Faith brought it up.
She has:
Padded Armor +3
Darkwood Buckler +3
Dex Bonus +8 (can't get the +9 Dex bonus with Reduce Person as the padded max Dex is +8, but helps with her bow attack)
Mage Armor
Shield of Faith
Shield
Reduce Person
Barkskin (+3 until Meleny is 9th level)

Anyway to make it higher that I'm not thinking of? Some special Armor out there.?
I know it's crazy and probably why it's often said 3.5 rules are broken, but it's fun.

 

That Reduce Person was a potion. Not on my wizard's spell list. Burne's trader doesn't sell any. Anywhere to get one? Not sure if I want to take a 1st level spell when I level up my wizard to 8th level.

 

Mage Armor shouldn't stack with the padded armor, so taking off the latter should boost your AC one more...

 

Thanks but I'd lose the enhancement bonus of +3 from the padded armor.
