Hi everyone. I recently picked this game up again to give KotB a try. Was thinking of a theme for a party and decided to create one based on a League of Legends team comp. It was really entertaining to design as well as being pretty effective so far (still in the early phases of the game). I thought I'd share the idea to see if anyone else has tried or wants to try out some similar builds. [Neutral Good Party Alignment] Ashe Race: Human Alignment: Chaotic Good Class: Rogue (4)/Ranger (X) Weapon: Longbow Role: Spokesman, Rogue, Primary Ranged Attacker (ADC) Essential feats: Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot, Weapon Focus (Longbow), Improved Critical Xin Zhao Race: Human Alignment: Chaotic Good Class: Barbarian (X)/Fighter (X) <- started with Barbarian, still debating what to build Weapon: Ranseur Role: Primary Melee (Bruiser) Essential Feats: Power Attack, Cleave, Weapon Focus (Ranseur), Improved Critical Akali Race: Human Alignment: Lawful Good Class: Monk (X) Weapon: Dual Wield Kamas Role: Secondary Melee (Assassin) Essential Feats: Two Weapon Fighting, Weapon Finesse, Blind Fight (to use with smokesticks) Leona Race: Human Alignment: Neutral Good Class: Cleric of Pelor Domains: Sun, Good Weapon: Bastard Sword and Kite Shield (ONLY kite shields allowed!) Role: Cleric, Tank, Support Essential Feats: Combat Casting, Exotic Weapon Bastard Sword Lux Race: Human Alignment: Neutral Good Class: Wizard (X) Weapon: Crossbow Role: Mage, Secondary Ranged Essential Feats: Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Crafting Feats The last character was an arbitrary decision as any AP mage would have fit the role. I chose her because the Blue Sorcerer Hat paired with the Blue Mystic Garb are near identical to the Sorceress Lux skin. Any comments or ideas welcome
Are you using this party for TOEE or KOTB? If KOTB, keep in mind that an average sized party will only reach about level 6 or 7 before completing the adventure.
Was using it for KotB, but I wasn't aware that it was so short. Guess I'll go check out the new content in the Co8 modpack.
I didn't mean to steer you away from KOTB, it's really a great time, I play it more than the original game now. But if you want to play your way to level 15+ then you should do the main game with new content.
lol it's alright. KotB has been interesting so far but I have noticed how the leveling is super slow. If it's like that all the way through then I think I'm done already. I'll try it again in the future if they ever decide to expand it.
Thoughts: Leona --> I think the magic spells that best represent her are Fireshield, Flamestrike/Sunburst and any spell that blinds or stuns - Holy Smite, Hold Person. Could dip Paladin for the saves bonus and martial weapons. A party leader candidate if so. Akali --> More Assassin than Monk I'd say, i.e. Monk 2/Rogue X. You could go the other way too, say Rogue 3/Monk X. I like the smokesticks idea  Xin --> Whirlwind Attack, Cleave + Improved Trip (Knockup) is how I see him. Fighter bonus feats let you power through the pre-reqs to get there before its quite late in your career. Lux --> specialist in Ray attacks, for Disintegrate perhaps? Ashe... I got nothing. GLHF
Akali: Rogue (1~3)/Monk (X) sounds ideal because of Wholeness of Body (Spell Vamp?) Ashe was partially a personal choice and partially because bows are pretty much the dominant type of range weapon in this game. The other options were either Varus with Far Shot and Multi Shot, or Vayne using a repeating crossbow and maxing Tumble. I'd totally make Draven if I could dual wield throwing axes
1~3 Rogue before Monk allows you the flexibility to return to Rogue levels later if you wish, for more burst damage or to pump UMD when you craft wands* (of fog?). Sadly Monk first is a one-way ticket. Pity there is no Girdle of Gender Change in TOEE, as Fruella and her magically returning throwing cleaver (handaxe, mechanically) would make a fine Draven understudy
I'm trying to decide on a build for Yasuo: Ranger, Druid or Cleric with Travel + Luck. I know I want to have Wind Wall, Longstrider and obviously the martial feats for sword crits. My Garen is a Con stacking Fighter~Cleric with Whirlwind and most of his spell slots filled with Silence Periapt of Wound Closure completes him  Question. To cast level 5 Cleric spells you require 15 wisdom, but is that requirement true for lv5 domain? Just for flavor of course, some Clerics present themselves as though Wis were a dump stat!
Wait, this exists already? Is there anything stopping me from 'borrowing' it from her? Suddenly I see a perfect Dr. Mundo build.
