    Tomtech, are you playing version 7.x of the mod? This is an old bug report thread.

    I'm pretty sure the CR of the quest doesn't change depending on how you do it - dead or alive, so naturally not killing them will result in less XP. If you pay close attention to the dialogue, you may get the impression that the Captain guy is ... disappointed when you bring them back alive, so less XP seems right anyway.

    I have 8.1.

    It shouldn't matter what he wants. He asked us to apprehend the fugitives and that is what we did. The fact that the Captain was deceitful should award the party more experience for bringing them in alive. It should be enough of a difference to make it worth the player's effort to accomplish it.

    I think it is a bit more complicated than that. I often had problems with this in the Zuggy fight, and the solution to this is apparently to focus on the Vrocks and kill them dead quickly, so that chars got only one or two doses of the spores, which then would wear off normally. In particular, it seemed to me that downed, but only unconscious (!) Vrocks still gave off spores every round, and that this excess attacks are somehow linked to the permanency of the purple cloud effect.

    I just had something odd happen in combat. One of my characters made an attack of opportunity with a bow. There are feats out there that permit this, but none that I know of in TOEE. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Has anyone had problems with the Old White Dragon in Verbobonc bugging out? After killing it's children I enter the corpse littered glen where the beast pops out at me and trying a few different saves all around that point I've gotten one of two things the first of which is that after the dragon uses some fear effect and breath weapon(?) when it becomes my turn and I click my character to act the game crashes OR, and this was a funny one, the dragon got a seeming endless amount of attacks on one character after another///I only watched two get wiped out this way before I quit and cried myself to sleep.

    I will admit to using the console earlier in the game to fool with Oohlgrist's stats(no longer in the party) so of course I know I could have caused some sort of mystery happening....but, all the same, has anyone else had dragon issues such as I described?

    I went ahead and did the dragon fight to see. I had no issues.

    I recently fought the white dragon and had no issues. I'm playing 8.1.0.

    After shutting my computer down and trying the dragon fight I had no issues so I suppose it was something to do with the cache not being cleared....is that a thing? A cache? Does turning over your comp refresh it? Anyhow----all good now.

    What about ALL two reach weapons, except spiked chain, being helded in one hand when enlarge person is used? This really nerf power attack when elarged. :(

    It has been a while since I posted but I recently went to upgrade my already upgraded Flaming Longbow +3 to add flaming burst but the program says it can't be dropped. I was just transferring it to someone other than the Ranger who has it (my first person). I did close the program and tried to do it again but it said the same thing. I can move my Longbow of the Pope +3 between people but not the Flaming Longbow +3. I have recently updated java to 8.40 if that may make a difference. Also I am running 8.1.0 NC.

    Also when I attached my zip file, I went to close the window, and it didn't close. I am using Firefox 36.0.1.

    Prince thrommels plate armor made (8.1 NC) the game crash. I had to sell it to continue the game.

    I've encountered an extremely unusual problem. I haven't seen it happen before, nor was I able to find anyone else with a similar problem after searching quite a bit (could have missed it though).

    The problem is as follows (I'm playing Co8 8.1.0 NC): I made a party of 6 characters to play with (after enabling the 6 PC option in TFE-X), and started playing. After getting a pair of Gloves of Dexterity +2 from the Assassin encounter (after selling Lareth's stuff to Rannos and Gremag), I gave them to my Sorcerer. Initially, all was well - however, after some time, I noticed that my Sorcerer's base 16 Dexterity had increased to 18, then 22, and now 34!

    I can only assume that some arbitrary trigger makes the +2 bonus from the gloves merge with the base stat, then re-applies the +2 bonus, giving me a net +2 to that ability score. Although it sounds like a positive thing, I really do not want it at all (I have already used the rolled-stat-transfer bug to make all of my characters have exactly the ability scores I wanted them to have, but not just 18 to everything). I don't know if this is able to break my game somehow, and I'm considering using the console command to set everyone's DEX to 16, and be done with it (for now at least).

    Other characters in my party do not seem to experience that effect, even when given the exact same pair of Gloves of Dexterity +2. The Sorcerer himself does not experience that effect with other stat-increasing items (Cloak of Charisma +6 does not do anything similar). As far as I can see, it's only on the Sorcerer, and only for Dexterity.

    Any ideas?

    As a side-note, the only other problem I had in this playthrough was that Lareth apparently wanted to cheat in our encounter, and merged into a wall. I found 2 angles from which he could be hit with crossbows, and weapons with reach could also get to him in his cheating fortress. He was, effectively, outside the playable map area, and could not be hit with regular melee weapons or spells. Crossbows and reach weapons worked alright, and allowed me to bypass that bug by killing him (was even able to loot him since he was very close to the wall).

    IIRC it's caused by one of the spells, possibly the dex draining one.

    There are missing references to TAG_BITE and TAG_HIT_DICE which may be the cause of some errors at startup. (embarrassingly, I think it's my fault, so I'll issue a fix - just putting it as a reminder here)

    Running a LG party after giving brother smith the giant head and sleeping in the Inn, I came out of the Inn and I'm forced into an empty dialogue with him that looks like--

    1.
    2.
    3.

    There is no text. A set of masterwork half-plate is put into one of my players inventory, easily noticed because they suddenly complain about the weight of it.

    I'm curious if the version number of the Co8 8.1 NC thing changes? It seems the Co8 team is making patches to bugs but I'm confused as when and if 8.1 will be updated for a cleaner version.
