Apparently my dreary eyed and addled old brain forgot to talk to the innkeeper when I first got to town. Problem solved and thanks for all the quick replies.

(But I still can't drop that shillelagh I picked up in the store map!)

Thanks Sirchet...after a tough fight with Lareth, i think is better restart the game with New Content Modpack instead of Standard Modpack version. Its funny cuz i wanted to change the version game, and now i don't have no save game to stop me!

I forgot to mention, welcome to the forum RN_archlord and abafa. :)

The weapon you picked up from the pile in the shop map would be a druid's conjured weapon and if you are not a Druid the game doesn't make any sense out of you having it.

Also, most of the UBER weapons in the pile are flagged non droppable, (they were actually for testing purposes and are removed in the latest download. ;)

Ahhhh, so if I gave it to Meleny she could drop or sell it? I sold off all the other stuff in the shop before adventuring and used the money to buy scrolls for my Bard who also got Cleric after the first level up. Yes, I did have some change left over but spent it on healing until my Bard got his Cleric level.

The ones flagged as undroppable will not move from one inventory to another.

Some are flagged and some are not.

I don't think most fighters die of old age, do they? Heh heh

Not sure if this is the right place for this, so apologies if it is not.

My 12th level cleric has 6th level cleric spells and slots for them, and she has a slot open for a 6th level domain spell, but no 6th level spells to choose from. Is this a bug?

Not a bug so much as missing content. We did a big poll / discussion of Domain spells a while back, but a lot of the relevant Domain spells just had no meaning or were unworkable in ToEE (eg anything Bigby's Hand, or 'Wall of X'). A list of possible alternates was put together that we really should go over :)

Can I ask what Domain you have that's missing a spell?

When I have empty spots for domain spells, I use lower level domain spells. It seems to work. Does this mean I have found a bug by putting in what ever spell I want in that area? For example, I get a lot of holy smites when I need them.

I've experienced this with the Good domain.

After starting with the changes, I have noticed something now twice. The first time was against Mathel. He went close to a door and I couldn't swing at him. I turned undead and he went away. I am now up to the Temple Level 1. I went to where the two priests are (and when you attack them all the people from the adjoining room come in) and I started throwing fireballs. I don't like messing with these priests. I then got down to one fighter that was disabled. He was standing by a door. I couldn't swing at him. No matter how close I tried to position a spell to get him his last hp, I couldn't. I restarted from saving just before the attack and got through the battle. Aren't you supposed to be able to hit everyone in the battle? I also couldn't open the door to the adjacent room in the battle (Temple Level 1, north of the Earth Temple, where Romag starts with his chest).

He might retire after his 10,000th kill which seems to be much later than when Otis decided to become a blacksmith. :)

It happens from time to time, usually for me its an bugbear Archer which means that he will be safa firing his 40 Arrows at me Before engaging in melee.
You might be able to hit him with splashing things and fireballs and sometimes very long Spears. if it is a melee guy just move away and he will move out of the "safespot."
