Apologies, Gazra, your game is failing irrespective of the reward. However... ...mine is not. It works perfectly (which is to say, one of my saves works, one of yours doesn't, in the same install etc). See screenshot below. So it's not the script which is fine (and can be run, even in your save, from the console). Ladies and gents, welcome to the world of ToEE bughunting. We'll get to the bottom of it.
I get to double post because I'm special @ Marc: 1) is a good example of something that only comes out in playtesting. I must have run that scenario dozens of times to test it (since the ending is complicated and broke frequently until finalised) but obviously I never ran it by chatting to the Curate twice EDIT: Note for your modding development Marc: that sort of bug - typo in one line breaks another line - is almost certainly what is causing Gazra's Billy quest failure where it is working in other games such as mine. I just have to find the typo Re 3) - there is any number of quests in ToEE and KotB that can be broken that way, but I actually thought that was one where I took it into account. O well, one more nuance to massage
Mad wizard is one, i keep getting the option to the tell the bailiff aboyt killing him and keep getting money.
Yeah, that 'get paid' thing is bugged whichever quest triggers it. For the record, the Bailiff gives his rewards in the same order, no matter what order you do the quests.
Spoiler and most likely a bug How the f do change the font color so it is not seen ?? Well as said above below might be a spoiler question I keep finding a secret door in bugbear chiefs room but not the one leading to the chest, just the one leading out into the cavesystem Updated in 1.0.1
This first isn't much of a bug but the second might be: 1- arrived at night and checking all doors met the brothers Seth and Gabe. After talking to trader Kennealy I tried to leave the shop but was blocked by Kennealy- finally had to select one character, move her to the very bottom of the screen and sneaked towards the door, and was finally able to exit. 2- talked to the Lady in Red about the barking dog and when I suggested another way was possible other than killing it the quest showed up as 'completed' in my logbook rather than just 'mentioned'. (Lady in Red? Man these seems familiar for some reason...)
Too much Chris de Burgh in your youth. 1 is a bug and has been fixed. Re 2 (more of a quest thing but I'll say it here and it can filter through) - if your party is of an appropriate alignment to NOT want to kill a stray animal for frivolous reasons, you complete the quest by refusing @ Chano: that chest is hidden up on a high shelf, as per the module (sorry of the artwork doesn't make that clear). Now, how would you get something down from a high shelf...?

I seem to remember Shiningted asking Sitra Achara to remove all of the raiders random encounters from the random encounter pool, but I am damned if I can find the reference. In any case, I had a random encounter against raiders, so Sitra Achara hasn't removed all of the raiders random encounters from the random encounter pool. Lorin (Apprentice Druid) has a Potion of Cure Light Wounds in his inventory that isn't identified. The recruitable NPC Lorin (Apprentice Druid) has no ranks at all in the Survial skill which, in my opinion, makes him a useless druid. Updated in 1.0.1 Lorin (Apprentice Druid) uses the same portrait as the recruitable NPC Ted in the computer game The Temple of Elemental Evil: A Classic Greyhawk Adventure. I recommend giving Lorin a new, unique portrait so that he has his own unique appearance.
Thanks Gazra. Spoiler or no, I've removed the step-by-step on how to get to the Thieves' Guild as that's something for after we get it working. It's because I forgot to reposition the cat: that's going to be annoying...
The monk NPC has tattoos that can be looted and used by the party. Guessing you need to make them permanent.
Actually I was thinking more along the lines of Zhentil Keep but yea, now that you mention it, when Chris de Burgh was popular- I still wasn't that young...
Not a "bug" exactly, but probably a scripting glitch (or undoable). When you tie a rope to lower yourself down Spoiler hole in the spider woods where the voice is calling for help the rope isn't there anymore -- if you use a second rope and hook to climb immediately back out Spoiler with the merchant , then try to go back down on the original rope Spoiler to explore what's down there -- the first rope you tied there is not there. I know, probably can only be scripted as a one shot deal and you can't keep a rope tied there. But I thought I'd let ya know in case you could do something about it. ADDED AS BUG 25
