An ez way to make a killing of unlimited gold in TOEE if you look carefully you might notice that Nira is bartering with himself! steps: 1.using suggestion bring Nira into your party (or any trader for that fact possibly) 2.using the radial menu (right mouse button) select talk ,then select Nira 3.start a barter with Nira 4.select Nira as the barter-ie 5. make Nira sell his items to himself over and over again! your party recieves the money not Nira. muhahaha
I hate to rain on such a fun exploit but- why? After a certain point (i.e., buying the castle) there really isn't a great need for gold unless you're heavily into crafting items...
Wait... Suggestion is actually in the game? I saw it in the ToEE booklet, but it never showed up as a spell I could take (which made my enchanter's third level slots devoted to Hastes in my previous run in 7.9).
Ah. I'll need a few more levels for level 5 spells. So that means XVicious used Dominate Monster for the Hydra? But that's a level 9 spell, and the PCs don't look like they have the HP of a level 17. Unless they are all wizards/sorcerers and rolled really low for HP.
He mentions he used the spell suggestion. That spell no longer exists in the newer versions of the mods. Back when it was a spell, it was a level 5 spell I believe, but I can not confirm this as I no longer have one of the old versions installed. :thumbsup:
T'was a 3rd level spell. Dominate Monster is 9th level, Dominate Person a 5th. I tried the Helm of Telepathy (which in PnP is used for Detect Thoughts, telepathy and Suggestion) on Nira. He was Held instead xD
Yes I had a Hydra for a TANK Yes the suggestion spell was from the original vanilla Spell List Yes the game has changed a little bit since all the updates. All my characters had the Level 10 CAP Having a Slave to Barter with, anywhere I go, and have unlimited Platinum... PRICELESS
