So, I could give my existing chest to another PC and then use the spell to create a new one?

I think I blew it when my wizard had a chest in inventory and then summoned a second one.

I will give the first a try just to see what happens (and yes I will use a save point right before I do it).

My save point wasn't too old, but now I have to go rescue Thromell again. No biggie...

Yes indeed. Just give the first one to another character and then summon a new one. You can keep doing that until each character has one, if you wish. Just remember that it costs you 5k gold for each chest.

Or buy the castle in Verbo. It comes with lots of storage capacity.

Agreed, but having more than 1 chest does allow you to store more treasure between trips to town and make a more believable sojourn into the Temple. :)

For an effect in getting double stuff from an enemy, you do the drinking contest and loot all the stuff from the passed out contestants. You get all of Kobort's equipment and when you get to the ambush, he is all geared up to again. Granted it is not a lot, but if you want a little extra money, now you know.

Most of this stuff I knew, I think.
My top tip: hotkey 'full attack', as it allows you to allocate your attacks one by one to different opponents if you manage to kill with the first hit. This obviously something that is only relevant to higher level characters, which means that you effectively keep training yourself out of the habit early on by just clicking...

At the other end of the scale, I keep forgetting how cheap first-level scrolls are to scribe when I start out at first level.

I didn't realise that non-proficient characters could use elven shields with no penalties until very recently.

I even put an Elven shield on my arcane casters in case they have to melee.

Elven shield in one hand and a sling in the other ... What! I've run out of spells, no worries, I'll stay right here and pelt you with rocks. :p

Except that I don't think you can use a shield with a sling- a buckler yes, but not a shield. Besides, I prefer crossbows for the magic types- more ammo found and deals more damage...:)

A sling is one-handed, except for loading.

I agree though. I think the entire body is involved in the throw. Though it could be learned while using a shield, the shield is still going to impede movement.

Javelins / spears /darts / daggers / throwing hammers and axes are similar cases. Historically, many of them were used while bearing shields.

Well, the ancient Norse used throwing axes while bearing a medium shield, although they did use and grip the shield in the same manner you would a buckler, (not strapped to the arm).
