    How many other enchantments are on the second weapon? If you stack too many you'll get a CTD, no matter what order you do it in.

    When you're adding enchantments to the already enchanted weapon are you shortening the name so that you can see the entire name without scrolling?

    9 out of 10 times you'll get a ctd if you craft something with a name longer than the box it is displayed in is.

    Thanks gents- I'd forgotten about the name thing- and only the +1, +2 and +3 were on the weapons before I tried to add a spell effect...

    Edit: the weapons involved were Masterwork Composite Longbow and Masterwork Composite Shortbow- don't suppose it would be possible to abbreviate the descriptions in the crafting screen, would it?

    If you click on the name in the crafting screen you can erase the entire name and call the weapon "Muh Suppa Duppa Elfy Killer" or such. ;)

    Some bugs I found in 7.7:

    - When you accidentally use the scroll-wheel of the mouse, everywhere which has text longer as the appointed window, things jump back to the top. Extremely difficult to choose new spells... (This is also a bug throughout the other versions). Quitting the game totally does restore things to normal though.

    - You don't get att. of opportunity when enemies try to break free, while enemies do get them. I only tried it with entangle, and that from an Obad-hai cleric, so it maybe it's due to that.

    - The spell Magic stone gives only 1 hit (as opposed to the 3 consequent rounds it should be active)

    - Holy water stays on the target if hit, and can be recuperated from their cold dead bones (It is however the first time ever that I used Holy water, so it might not be a bug)

    I've tried using the holy water found in the Moathouse during the Moathouse Respawn and I'm sure that it's only when you MISS hitting your target that you can recover it...

    Running into a problem with a NG party all at 11th level with the druid and ranger each having an animal companion: I've tried to enter each node in the greater temple, only to suffer a CTD. This happened 3 straight times trying to enter the earth and air nodes. The first time I entered the water node things happened as normal (that is, immediate combat). I tried reloading the game at that point and tried entering the fire node and briefly got a screenshot of the starting spot before the game crashed again. Yesterday everything worked fine with the NE party as I had them finish the nodes and then take the gem hoard (I teleported them straight to the passage to Verbobonnoc after watching the Zuggy ending). Any ideas of what's going on?

    - Dismiss the animal compagnons, rest & retry to enter the fire node again?

    - You recuperate the holy water from the remains of your target if you hit (I've been cleaning out Emredy Meadows with this stuff)

    I'll try dismissing 1 of the animal companions-I had no problems with the druid in the NE party that just completed the nodes...

    Edit: dismissed the ranger's animal companion and things now work as normal- has this always been an issue or is it something new?

    Well it's time to welcome the NE and NG guys into the fold of having finished the temple and defeating Zuggy (although the NE guys did it by taking the gem hoard- but hey, they were only in it for themselves :)). Time for the next opposition alignments to try their luck- LE and CG. I'll be trying a slightly different party build with 2 clerics in each, each with different domains. For the record, has anyone had a chance to look at the Laereth bug yet to figure out why he fails to realize he's already been rescued once you talk to him in the broken tower?

    My current play thru has gotten the 'can't find secret doors you know are there' bug and the Tolub 'Hey, you're a cheater!' comments (despite not doing anything underhanded). Anyone remember off the top of their heads what the solutions to these problems are (if any)?

    If you can't find the secret doors, I think you have to start a new game. I've never had the Tolub bug you describe.

    Did you try to fight Tolub with a monk? If you did, a monk does lethal, rather than non-lethal, damage when they hit. If so you WERE cheating and it isn't a bug. ;)

    Nope- just a plain fighter this time- but it does explain why he's said that when a I used a monk before...
