I'm running into a problem. Romag gives me the quest to kill the snake, but absolutely everything agros on me instantly, and when I return to Romag, he agros too. It doesn't appear to be possible to get the snake and back and thus 'turn in' the quest. Bug or am I doing something wrong? This feels broken.
Yes, sorry -- I'm using 7.7.0 NC. Here's a bit better description of what I am seeing: 0. I teleported into Romag's room via the "Rentsch" sent me guard dialog option. 1. I get the "kill snake" quest from Romag. 2. On the way out, if any creatures see me, combat starts. When I return to Romag, he immediately initiates combat.
Are all characters of your party wearing the robes of the temple in which area you are? If not then all go hostile until you actually completed one quest for that temple.
They neglected to issue me any robes, and there are don't appear to be any in the Romag's room. It seems like perhaps there should be a chest in the room with robes, and some dialog suggesting that you put them on? As it is this is pretty broken. I believe it's impossible to do the quest path as I took it. Edit: this was indeed the problem. After I borrowed the robes the suddenly deceased temple guards were wearing, I was able to travel freely. It did not seem to matter that only 4 of my 7 party members were wearing robes. This did the trick.
