Okay, so thanks to Zoltec I was inspired to have a look at some of our meshes (e.g. outfits, armors, etc.) in ToEE, and I was kind of shocked to see the sorry state that some of it is in. First thing I looked at was mystic garb, worn by every sorcerer - no wait, every female human or elven sorcerer. It's only worn by females because the male versions universally suck, and some of them don't even exist. Yes, that's right. I always thought that issue with male black mystic garb was a transparency thing, but no - the tgas were never even created - so obviously there is going to be no mesh there. Also, there were a few missing varieties for female dwarves and whatnot, because obviously no one would want to tart up a female dwarven sorcerer.

Well no more! Starting now we have 10 varieties of mystic garb for all races and both sexes. The male versions were overhauled to actually, you know, bear the colors they claim to be instead of a uniform boring brown. Most versions were also brightened, because a pale outfitted spellcaster is a sad spellcaster, and no one wants that. And there are no missing gaps anymore, so your gay dwarven mage can wear his hot pink garb proud if he wants to, just like your sexy elven gal in red.

The colors are teal and hot pink (because Troika had those from the beginning and called them 'blue' and 'red;' they are now brightened), yellow, orange, and purple (brand new), red and blue (new as made by HK a few years back; now brightened), green (another Troika original, now brightened and made more green instead of olive), and the white and black numbers HK did a few years ago, expanded to include outfits for the guys. Have a look. :)

I seem to recall that there were a variety of items that HK made back in the day that never actually got added in ... hats and boots and stuff, for which very cool inventory icons exist. I'll probably have a look at those next.

I hope the pink doesn't clash with my Dwarven wench's beard ....

    Great work Gaear!

Added gold breastplate, plate gloves, and plate boots per HK's nice inventory icons. Combined with the gold plumed helm, you can now pimp your warriors out in top-to-bottom gold! :)

No more clipping issues with the helms and cloaks?

Which helms and cloaks had clipping issues?

I could never identify any particular cloaks that caused the issue; it only ever seemed to happen at random. Generally, changing maps would clear it.

In particular the colored helm you can buy from the shop map.

Buy one and equip it with a cloak, it looks kind of cool and funky at the same time. ;)

Here's a picture of a cloak combined with a plumed helm.
The standard plumed helm, (grey) doesn't have this effect present.

Oh, you meant that kind of problem. I thought you meant where the cloaks suddenly become giant and misshapen. All the cloaks I've seen have the above problem with the Robes of Midnight.

    Fixed! (the gold helm anyway)

    gold2.jpg

I'm not seeing the issue there.

    Here's a RoM with a red cloak -

And a HoM with a red cloak -

And the full regalia (HoM/RoM/cloak) -

    Nice job!

I do like my knight to have a Plumed helm, just seems proper. ;)
