I think that it's fair to say that we gamers are lucky to have SO many amazing computer games in development at the moment! These are the upcoming computer games that I am most looking forward to playing (listed in alphabetical order): Cube World (has dreadful graphics like Minecraft, but the game will be devoted to character develoment and exploration of a randomly-generated world with random encounters such as other adventuring parties and monsters) Elite: Dangerous (David Braben's dream space game (based on his Elite series of computer games) with both single-player and MMORPG play modes within an expanding and evolving universe) Lords of Xulima MechWarrior Tactics (seems to be a faithful turn-based combat computer game adaption of the board-game BattleTech. The downside is that it will be an online game only. Although it will be free-to-play, subscribers to the game (i.e. those players with premium accounts) will receive more C-Bills and earn XP & scrap faster) Project Eternity (the real spiritual successor to the computer game Baldur's Gate 2 (after the disappointment and debacle that Dragon Age was touted as being)) Star Citizen (Chris Roberts' dream space game (that draws inspiration from his Wing Commander, Privateer, and Freelancer series of computer games) with an emphasis on the best graphics possible and that starts with a single-player campaign which then leads into a MMORPG within an expanding and evolving universe) The Elder Scrolls Online (due for release in 2014 Quarter 2) Wasteland 2 (squad-based game with isometric view, looks similar to Fallout Tactics. 'Wasteland' was THE first post-apocalypse computer game (it was released in 1988) which was the predecessor for all of the Fallout series of computer games) I'd be interested to know which upcoming computer games you are most looking forward to playing.

In addition to some of those you mentioned: Planetary Annihilation - Total Annihilation reborn Wasteland 2 Divinity: Original Sin - Seems like it's like the first Divinity done better + turn based combat. Fallen Enchantress expansion pack Also, rumor has it that Age of Wonders 3 is in development. It's going to be tough choosing which ones to actually play given increasingly limited spare time...
I'm still not very impressed with Fallen Enchantress, even if they did send me a free copy, it still feels very generic. Divinity with TBC sounds awesome!

Has anyone played Dark souls here? It's an rpg that feels more old school in the art style and difficulty, but it's one hell of a challenging game. Dark souls 2 is one game I'm looking forward to. Also, the Witcher 3 is hopefully being released next year. Everything CDPR has said about it makes it sound more and more like it will be one of the best games to date in it's genre. Also age of wonders 3.
