Nulb Slaughter?

So Tolub has that juicy +3 ring of protection, and Grud also has some nice stuff. Is there anybody else in Nulb worth attacking? I already purposely botch the assassination quest to kill Skole and all his goons. I also loot the denizens of the waterside tavern. Same goes for Otis. Anybody else deserving my attentions?

 

Have you tried fighting Otis with a certain drunk in your party?

You got the frog loot, right?

 

I no longer adventure with said drunk because I play a good party and do not want the butcher rep.

You could just Pick Pocket them Tolub to get that ring.

 

How does one pick pocket actually?

Sleight of hand, success and they fail to notice, but when I try this nothing happens. There is no screen to pick from, nor do i wind up with anything in my inventory.

 

Same here. I no longer waste points on sleight of hand. I just kill them, it is easier.

 

With Sleight of hand you need to have the cursor over the victim then right click for the menu.

Quite often all you'll get is gold, (which ain't that bad).

Other items you'll need to check your inventory.

I gotten quite a bit of loot this way.

It's also a good way for a "Good" group to start a fight without actually being a bad guy.

 

Does that work against the random NPC group? If Otis is with me when I kill them, I usually have to kill him also.
