Extraplaner Chest. Guess I forgot to pick it up and now when I try to retrieve it, it says that it is located: Guard Tower - Lower Level #5 5015 (assuming in the Temple) I am through the 1st level, and 1/2 through the 2nd. Rather than look where I have been, is there any quick way to teleport there? Thanks!
I'd go to the guardtower ruin entrance and look in Falrinth's or Smirgnal's rooms judging by the reference
You could always just cast the spell again. All of your stuff will be in the second one. At least it used to work that way. I once tried to have 2 chests when I found that out.
I found you had to give an existing chest to any character other than the one casting the spell or using the scroll. If you tried to cast the spell with an exsiting chest in inventory, it just summons that chest. Three is enough for most of the regular content areas, but even that can run short of space with some of the later new content.
I had two out at the same time. Then I had the pc that opened the second one return that one. They both disappeared. That pc's chest would come back. The other chest would not, I got your chest is located at location ...... So I guess it went into the ether I had even hot keyed each chest to a specific pc and unique key. Have not tested again as I just went back to a previous save and just deal with one chest at a time. I play a game where movement rate is key and offloading junk to the trunk is beneficial. It is too bad it cannot operate like a sub container inside the inventory container. I think it was Baldur's Gate or Myth Drannor that had that. My chests are always full and I have seen where some items seem to have fallen out of the trunk. I sent the trunk back near the Smyth and then was hitting tab at night and I found that items were on the ground. Seems to occur randomly when you try to take all and it is calculating open slots versus item count in the container. Not regularly reproduceable. Cheers ********************** As a follow up, I was abe to retest this and reproduce it. The good news is that it appears that my save was corrupted. I had originally had a pci with a chest and an assigned hot key for it. I moved that chest to another pc but did not yet assign a hot key to it. Then I summoned another chest using the pc (wizard) that I just moved the chest off of getting two chests on the ground. I could not use "G" key over on this pc and remapped hot key to "T" but I did not map the action for the new pc holding the old chest. So when that pc unsummoned them, both disappeared. A lot of mapped keys had gong wonky. With a completely different set of saves I was able to summon and unsummon the chests with no issues. I did this with and without hotkeys. I have noticed that TOEE gets a bit dodgy when the CPU stays at 50 percent and memory usage jumps to 200,000 K plus. Not really sure what that hiccup was. Hopefully this is only me doing something that caused it (I did not use console mods).
