Uploading two of my saves for the hell of it (One pre-crash, one post), as I'm out of ideas for what I can test on my end and I have no idea how one would reconstruct what bug I triggered to cause the issue.

Is it normal, though, for the .tfaf files to get significantly larger overtime? My pre-crash saves are 1849KB, 2769KB, and 2021KB, while my post-crash ones are 3787KB and 3985KB.

For the saves, just travel to Nulb and you should experience the crash.

Okay, I did reproduce the issue after all (didn't do any running around the first time) and figured it out - a single rogue pathnode remained on the far east side of the map that the game was probably trying to communicate with and calculate a route to (and failing).

To fix, extract the contents of the attached .rar archive to your ToEE root directory with the 7.2.0 module active.

I'm not sure if the immediate crash-upon-arrival issue is down to this as well.

This will be made into a proper patch before long, but just use this for now.

Yes, it's normal for them to vary quite dramatically.

I suppose I was taking a bit of liberty with regards to the strict definition of "post-crash."

A pre-crash save means that I'm able to load up the Nulb map and not crash.

A post-crash save means that I'm unable to load up the Nulb map without crashing.

    Edit:
That patch fixed it, thanks man. After loading into Nulb, I found out exactly what the problem was, too: A villager was on the far side (in relation to the town) of the bridge and immediately pathed back towards town. This caused the exact same crash that Renly was having except that it was caused by an NPC instead of a PC.

I deleted all saves, started from the beginning. At level 5 cleated the Moathouse and went to Nulb. Spent some time there, bought some items, initiated the Orb of Sah and the Gar quests. Went to the Temple and advanced to level 6.

The game freezes when I arrive to Nulb. The map is still on the screen.

    Edit:
OK, I have installedthe patch and can go to Nulb now.
    Thanks

I was able to enter Nulb successfully and perform Orb, Madam and Tolub quests but was unable to leave purchased house subsequently without game crashing to desktop [I was able to console in helm of telelportation and teleport party to Imeryds Run but not return subsequently].

I installed Gaear's second patch and re-commenced game with save before arriving at Nulb the first time, this time I was able complete the same quests and reach Imeryds Run on foot. Unfortunately the game crashed to desktop as soon as I attempted to return to Nulb

I am starting a new game on the basis that patch only works on fresh game.

I'm willing to bet that, if you were to install the patch and go back to the save that caused the crash, you would see a "Nulb village woman" standing on the sign-side (as opposed to town-side) of the bridge that immediately paths towards the town. That is to say, the NPC's pathing hits the rogue pathnode and causes the crash.

The patch works perfectly fine on 7.2.0 saves, so there's no reason to start fresh.

She is in the middle of the bridge heading towards the signpost.
In the last wooden segment before the stone one.
She is going and stops when she comes to the signpost.

I am also getting a crash in Nulb when using the map to go to the sign post. Is this the same bug? Will this patch fix that issue?

You should install the patch regardless and not even worry about it.
