The office where I work is being inundated by tree frogs...they are everywhere, on all the windows, all over the front and back porches. Have caught 20+ inside and tossed them back out. Tree frog duty.
I hope you had a good day and the night goes well. The neighbor next to me cut down one of the big old live oaks and a couple of days later, the neighbor behind me did the same thing. I guess I can understand not wanting a tree to destroy your house and hurricane season is upon us, but I feel badly for all the birds and squirrels who lost their homes too. The birds were frantic, flying toward the tree they last roosted in and finding it missing, circling around and then flying seemingly aimlessly from one tree to another. Birds are territorial and I don't know how welcoming other birds are, notwithstanding being in the same flock. So I'd assume the 'aimlessly' flying was a response to 'no room in the inn.' Strangely enough, although I saw lots of distressed birds, I didn't see any distressed squirrels. I have no idea what happened to them or where they went. The displaced birds seem to have gone elsewhere. There are not as many around as before. I suppose they'd have to. Aside from a couple of porch lizards, that's about all that's happened recently. May the Lady smile on you and me too. Goodnight.
Sorry to hear that my girlfriend and myself just spent Chtristmas and New Year coughing our guts out . Get well soon
(Nagging Mom Mode) I hope you're seeing a doctor. Stay on your treatment. Take it seriously. I hope you recover quickly! (Oh, great! Now I'VE got it!)
I saw a doctor, have numerous prescriptions and have to see my regular doctor for follow up as soon as her office reopens (holiday closure). I am taking it seriously. I don't think anything has ever wiped me out like this has. Thanks GA82 and Emirkol for the hugs (even though now GA82 is sick) and to Hugh for the get well wishes.
