    They probably will be in most cases. One exception would be if you've already been to the Bazaar of the Bizarre in Verbobonc. If you have and you go back after patching, your game will CTD due to eliminating the scroll of Summon Swarm previously found there.

    Hi Gaear
    Just a few minor things to report. First I have an 11th Level Party but haven't had any "Jerkstop" issues, but I will keep my eyes open. My minor bugs are as follows:
    1.) Deggum, the Commander of the Temple Guards has two Generic Helms (maybe that explains why he's so hardheaded). See the attached image
    2.) Necklace of Adaption doesn't work against Stinking Cloud. I cast SC on Senshock (worked like a charm by the way) and sent my fighter in to take him out. Imagine my surprise when my fighter with the Necklace of Adaption was reported as "Sickened" !! Talk about getting a sick feeling ! Thank god Elmo and my cleric were able to finish off Senshock before he recovered from the Stinking Cloud.

    Yes. The stats for Turuko, Kobort, and Zert are from the original T1-4 PnP.

    Spugnoir was level 3 in vanilla TOEE, but he's been demoted to level 2 in accordance with the original module. He's been given more hp, though - he had only 4 in the module.

    I have a few more Verbobonc items for you.
    1.) I accepted the "Building Credit" quest (just to see what it did) and went off adventuring (the Drow problem, back to the temple, etc..). I have returned to the Silver Consortium several times, but have never been given the Dialogue option of paying of the the remaining balance. One interesting thing of note is that my logbook shows the quest was accepted on "Day 0 Month 0"
    2.) I accepted the "Frozen Assets" quest and cleared the Gnome tunnels of their uninvited "guests", then I played bountyhunter and tracked down the three fugitives, and then I did the "Family Turmoil" quest. I then reported to the Guard Captain about the fate of the fugitives. I then talked to Willfrick about his daughter, and completed the Family Turmoil quest. When I started to talk to Willfrick about the Frozen Assets, one of my Dialogue options was "Sir I have been ordered to kill you" even though I had never spoken with Darla or even visited his "Inn". When I went to "arrest" him ( I waited until two hours after evening ) he wasn't there but Lerrik was.

    Huh. As near as I can tell, all the NoA does is protect against Cloudkill. Once.

    Can you type the following into the console, hit enter, and report the value returned?

    *sigh* The bane of my existence. It really shouldn't be happening at all, but I've added another level of bulletproffing anyway.

    I was under the impression that it helped against Hezrou stench. Or was that just a lucky coincidence?

    Patches are up, get them here:

    Circle of Eight Add-On 6.0.1 NC

    To install, simply double click the download and follow all on-screen promps. Launch TFE-X after installation, select Add-On Packs, select the Co8 6.0.1/NC add-on pack, and click install. WAIT OUT THE INSTALLATION.

    Note that if you have any other add-on packs installed (such as dolio's spells add-on), activating the 6.0.1/NC add-on will remove it. Only one add-on can be installed at a time.

    This add-on should be compatable with all saves unless you've already been to the Bazaar of the Bizarre in Verbobonc. If you've been there and try to go back after patching, your game will CTD.

    Changelog:

    - Fixed bug with continuing Lareth fight after he offers to surrender.
    - Fixed bug where charmed members of Lareth's troops could wake up fellow troops.
    - Parsed Lareth villain speech audio.
    - Added generic item inventory icon for Lareth's dresser.
    - Fixed bug where Turuko and Kobort would auto-join parties during combat if the other was charmed.
    - Fixed bug where Kobort would restart his dialog during combat in the Moathouse Ambush.
    - Fixed bug where story state 5 wasn't being set by Alrrem or Romag if you were recruited. Also added bulletproofing to set same in dialog if temples are on alert.
    - Fixed bug where it was still impossible to report Monster Mash quest as completed to Canon Ramses (NC modpack only).
    - Fixed bug where Darlia wouldn't initiate sequence of Wilfrick assassination if you thought about it and came back (NC modpack only).
    - Added an option to opt out of informing Wilfrick about the assassination order after reporting on the drow and added an option to inform him separately through normal dialog (NC modpack only).
    - Added Circle of Death spell description to Help.tab.
    - Removed scroll of Summon Swarm from Bazaar of the Bizarre in Verbobonc. Also removed it from spell lists and help.tab.
    - Fixed shift-click long description bug with traders' shortsword.
    - Fixed magic black breastplates +1 being pre-identified.

    I have two more for you.
    1.) The Periapt of Proof against Poison is not true to RAW ( http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#periaptofProofagainstPoison ). It is supposed to give total immunity to poison, instead it only gives +4 to saves against Poison.
    2.) Whenever my Wizard casts Analyze Dweomer he gets a non-removalable Spell Object.

    By the way, would it be possible to add Teds "Pet Control" (or what ever he calls it) from KoTB to a future modpaclk ??

    Are you sure those two numbers aren't switched around? The castle value at 1 means that it's only been mentioned to you. The quest state value doesn't exist.

    It looks like it's hard-coded, as there are no scripts listed for it in protos.tab whatsoever. Not really sure what all it'll work for; I only tested with Stinking Cloud and Cloudkill (the spells mentioned in its description), and Cloudkill worked once and SC not at all.

    I must have a messed up install or something then. Just to be sure, I re-did the console codes and got the same results. I also have a screen shot of the logbook. The console grabs are in the order I typed them in ( First Code - First Answer - Second Code - Second Answer )
    Notice that on the left hand page of the logbook it says that the "Building Credit" quest was accepted on "Day 22 Month 5" but the right hand page shows it was accepted on "Day 0 Month 0". I don't know if that is significant or not. Bummer about the Necklace of Adaption though.

    That's bizarre, TRC. I would suggest you reactivate and start over, as something must indeed be goofy in your install. Either that or a save got out of whack somehow.
