The moment I enter his house him and his family attack, any idea why? I have talked to him before, but now he attacks for some reason... Is he the guy who steals from filiken (the rich farmer guy) - am I suposed to kill him ? No spoilers please, I'm just at Nulb. Thanks !
I was once attacked by the people of Hommlet when I tried out the Horn of Fog within city limits (right outside Burne's tower, to be precise.) Must have violated a noise ordinance or something, because immediately a bunch of children led by Kent went at my party, soon joined by some badgers and Elmo. Did you maybe do something like that?
Can't say that I have, no.. I've been solving some quests by lying / bluffing, but nothing like that...
That would set the wife's reaction to you quite low, if you had a couple of other negative reps, it might push her over the edge. Interesting if it did though! What reps do yu have, may I ask?
Bear in mind that there may very easily be heretofore unseen reputation behavior now due to the big old reputations bug that was fixed in 6.0.0.
Turns out I'm a master of the crude insult, as well as a beggar maker. Who knew ! I'm using Co8 6.0.0 (Not NC)
Heh, you're a donor and a beggar maker. You just make beggars so you can feel good about donating to them I would suggest almost every one of those reps would make a Cuthbertian hostile - certainly Old Faith Donor, Insulter, Beggar Maker and Heroic Drinker should do. If the wife is Cuthbertian (I think so but not sure) and already hostile to you because of your slutty and trampish ways, that should be more than enough to make her violent. Interesting. Probably not the best RP outcome. "Flirting with my husband is bad enough, but now I hear you've been donating to Jaroo! Well I must attack you, you powerful and well-armed harlot!"
Sounds like girl logic to me  BTW, will I still be able to solve the farmer thief quest? or his he the one (and if so, would killing him complete the quest without further consequences?)
Turns out you were right... I donated some money to St. Cuthbert (to receive the St. Cuthbert donor rep) - and now they don't attack. They still don't like me though, wonder why
